I've always thought Diego was a bit of a poser - but I do admire his tenacity. He wants to be a good fighter if nothing else. This weekend he takes the ultimate acid test against the toughest SOB to ever fight at 155.
Diego is not afraid to be different. I admire that. That's cool with me. Him being weird takes nothing away from his credibility as a fighter. At the end of the day we're all weird in our own ways. Diego simply doesn't hide who he is. BJ is gonna have a fight on his hands. This isn't Kenny Florian.

I agree with this. Everyone seems to be counting Diego out. I know BJ is one of the best fighters and in that weight class is pretty much unstoppable. But for some reason I can't count Diego out. Although after watching the countdown, I do find him very very weird lol There is something not right with that dude.

I think Diego will get hurt by BJ's punches early on and he will become very reluctant to trade with BJ and pressure him. He isn't NEARLY as good at takedowns as Hughes or GSP and they could'nt take BJ down in any of the 1st rounds. Actually I don't think I've ever seen a lightweight take him down at all.
