I know Kanye West and 50 cent pulled off a trick that surpassed anything Arum or King could do. Wasn't long ago....remember when 50 went public and said he'd retire if Kanye West outsold him? something like that.

Well Kanye obviously responded and next thing both of them were calling on their fans to show some love and buy their records. Bottom line...both sold millions. It was a win/win for both - much like Green/Mundine I suppose. Collusion of sorts imo.

For the record, Kanye outsold him. I don't think 50 gave a flying fitty f**k though.

I'd like to think I have a level of humor that some would appreciate LOL.

    It's a pity Angelo isn't a message boarder. I'm sure he'd grow to like me. :)

IBO World Cruiserweight Champion Danny “The Green Machine” Green received a hero’s welcome in his hometown of Perth, Western Australia today. Green was given a full civic reception in the heart of Perth City today, where over 2,500 fans cheered on as Green, holding his world championship belt thanked all the WA community for their support following last week’s first round annihilation of Roy Jones Jr. Green also revealed that he personally phoned American boxing legend Bernard Hopkins as he plans another mega superfight for Australia. Green said the message he left on Hopkins’ voicemail was ”Bernard, you’ve said a lot of things, mate. You’re a legend, now let’s get it on. Let’s do it!”
Green wants to bring the fight to Perth Australia. “Did anyone think we could bring Roy Jones Jr to Australia? We did, so there is no reason why Bernard Hopkins can’t come,” Green said.
Hopkins had been due to fight Roy Jones Jr in March next year, but Green has seemed to have ruined those plans, even though Hopkins for some reason believes that fight could still happen.
Green also got stuck into arch rival Anthony Mundine again, saying after his victory over Roy Jones Jr, Mundine should be pretty much known as “Anthony Who”.
“I think for my next contest we want to go bigger and better than Roy Jones Jr, so we are going to try to bring Bernard Hopkins to Australia,” Green said...Just giving you Aussies the latest update on your hero...Your welcome!!! I'm sure you guys already knew this anyway...:thumbsup

I understand what you guys are saying is more rational than what I'm saying. I'm a loose cannon and spitting fire is my downfall. I don't want to see RJJ get hurt, I just want a better performance than that. I know the Green camp did their homework on Jones before the fight, that's obvious and I congratulate Danny for doing so. Theirs a little taste of the humble pie:good

I always had the sense, but was too much of an arrogant, stubborn dickhead to admit it. That's just the way I am about the fighters that I love. Towards the end of Tysons career, I would still order his PPV fights thinking...this is it, he has his head on straight (or so it seemed), he said he's gonna destroy so and so, he still wants to win, etc., however every time was another disappointing loss. Tyson was only showing up for the pay-check and I didn't want to believe that cuz I'm a stubborn dickhead even when I know the truth, I lie to myself and believe it to a certain extent...
