Well thought out post, and I definitely see where you're coming from. Still, I just don't feel that it is possible to suggest that Pacquiao trains smarter or better based on Floyd's success and given that his conditioning has never failed him.

Floyd's hands/body wearing out on him could be based on a number of factors, genetics being one of them.

That said, I wouldn't argue much deeper with you on the matter because you have a well reasoned point to stand on and it is likely that Pacquiao's method will, going forward, be the method of choice.

theyre both the same athletes- 1 and 1a- like comparing lebron and kobe in my mind. different types of atheltes-

if u say whos better at other sports- athlete? then probably mayweather - he s just got a more versatile body for other sports. but this is boxing- and that matters **** all. what matters is fists, balls and chins.

floyd is like kobe- (older kobe- kobe now) the polis- hed and refined athlete- does all he needs to - spectacuklar - but techiniocal perfect. has every athletic advantage over 99.999 % of guys, in the book but dosent need to rely on it necessarily.

Pac is more like lebron, techncally unorthodox- dosent do it as was written- but writes his own book cos he s a freak. is full of wiry explosive fast twitch muscle- can explode in any direction with full force and fury. just a genetic monster.

athletically with regards to only physical /body aspects- i.e. disregarding mental technical factors- i break it down like this:

    strength - PAC
    Power (explosive strength) - PAC
    speed - FLOYD
quickness (speed concentrated in small movements) - PAC
    grace/fluidity - FLOYD
    flexibilty/range of motion - PAC
    footspeed (lateral) - FLOYD
footspeed ( in and out) - PAC
handspeed - equal ( i know floyd seems faster- but pacs arms are shorter- so they get there faster - same - in other words)
    co-ordination - equal
    reflexes (hand eye) - equal
    robustness (body) - FLOYD
    robustness (head) - PAC
    endurance/stamina - FLOYD
    reach - FLOYD
    stride - FLOYD
    Bulk size - FLOYD
    body fat - PAC
    balance - FLOYD
    pain threshhold - PAC
wear and tear - PAC (advantage)
    cut propensity - FLOYD (adv)
    injury - PAC (adv)

again- just my opinions- please feel free to make ur own lists and disagree- would be great to hear other opinions as long as theyre intelligently justified- rather than with hate (e.g. "floyds faster than pac- cos we both ****ed ur mum before u got home")

Floyd is probably one of the most gifted athletes ever. Nobody can do that at 1.00 onwards at least no one ive seen lately.

This is also a good reason why pacquiao will not beat mayweather. Mayweather has too much of an ego. Watch 4.22 onwards. Floyd is talking to himself. WTF

I run at midnight, its quieter and fewer cars on the road:bbb. Besides, what does time have to do with it?:huh Its the available time for me so i do it. But thats because i can no longer do it in the morning cause i've to work early.:yep

Both are gym rats, and are very much dedicated to their craft.
