Always been a Hatton fan, but his time has passed.

    Stay retired Ricky.

Hes certainly the only one mentioned who would have a war with him , no way Khan , Marquez or the golden oldie are going to bother to get into a tear up when they could easily outbox him.

Katsidis would probably be a fun night out

For his grand finale he's not going to want to get spannered in the early rounds if at all.

With his punch resistence shot to **** and the fact he'd be looking at losing 3 or 4 stone I can't think of anyone he should be going in with. A weight drained ODLH at 147 sounds like the best bet for him!

Stay out of it Ricky don't become a cliche.

    :deal

He aint getting down to 140 or 147, to think he could and be in tip top condition is a joke.

Just look at him...very overweight, bad skin brought on by current lifestyle ( well earned ) and he still got xmas etc to go.

Stay retired and enjoy and thankyou for some amazing nights of boxing, yeah even all those WBU ones.

    LEGEND :good

he wants to go out with an absolute war?

was that his thinking when he kept walking on to floyd's punches, and left his chin perched for Pacquiao's target practice.

he doesn't have the chin for a war anymore. his body is savaged from all his poor nutritioning. Khan, Katsidis, Valero - would all KO him like a *****.

Fighting Oscar would just be an exhibition fight from two old past it former high profile fighters. Would it even sell out Wembley or MEN anymore? I doubt it.

Like others have said, keep it domestic and aim lower to keep it competitive. Witter would be a good fight now. Khan is the big fight everyone wants to see though. If I knew Ricky I would tell him to forget it now, he's not the same fighter anymore.

  11. Hatton DLH would sell out Wembley 5 times over.

Bobby, I never had you down as such a horrible **** off camera.

Here's a question does anybody see any way whatsoever he could beat De La Hoya ?

De La Hoya knows full well it'd only be an exhibition fight and would delude himself into thinking any different unlike Ricky. There's no way if it was at Welter that Oscar would fall for the same "You can't come in on fight night about 149 bollocks again" and he would be fully re-hydrated coming into the ring.

Not only that but Oscar is a bigger puncher than Ricky, has a granite chin and is a better boxer by far. I see this being over within 6.

Anybody els elike to agree/disagree with me ?

  13. I'd say early stoppage for Hatton or drawn out lopsided UD/late stoppage for DLH.

    70% swaying towards the latter.

Hatton needs to lose some weight before people can take him seriously about a comeback. He does not have the discipline to not indulge too much over the festive period & that's why he's waiting until 2010 before he tells us what's what!

No respectable or renowned trainer would commence camp with Ricky before he loses some weight. It may sound like a broken record, but Ricky looks more out of condition as he's ever looked, perhaps worse!

If he returns & wins, then he will box on instead of having just a one-fight comeback! Say he faces JMM & wins, Ricky will most likely try to get another shot at the winner of Floyd-Pacman!

Ricky has said De La Hoya ius a possible comeback opponent, but I do not see how? No way Oscar boxes at Welter again. Hatton is not going to LMW either because that's just ridiculous.

Or maybe its because Ricky thinks he cannot make 140lbs anymore?
