Your right, but I have to say that PBF is a very smart fighter who knows this already. I believe PBF is going to start with his jab and circle him around for first round to see what exactly he is dealing with. Pac's speed is no joke so watching him is not the same as fighting him. After that, PBF will inplement his gameplan (s). The power Pac brings will make it a fight.

Sounds to me like you feel that Berto is betraying his "people".

  5. LMAO! Sounds like they're getting desperate. First Khan was supposed to be the guy and now they're going after Berto. Too bad Berto fights nothing like PBF.

Who really does fight like Floyd? It's all about getting the best camp with the best possible sparring with guys who have the same kind of natrual ability, talent and attributes. You can't really prepare for a guy like floyd or a guy like PAC for that matter. You can just come up with a gameplan and hope your conditioning and attributes can be enough to pull out the "W".

You don't like the idea cuz your a floyd fan:lol: Berto is actually a good sparring partner cuz he has the speed and he is a welterweight. It's gonna be hard to find a sparring partner that resembles floyd so getting a speedy sparring partner is a good idea to prepare for floyd speed at least.

  8. They need to bring in defensive-minded guys who fight smart and are good counter punchers. Berto is NOT that guy. Speed isn't what is going to give Pac trouble necessarily; it's all of the things that are implemented to make the speed effective.

That makes sense and I'm sure they'll have a strategy for that. But there is no better way to prep and be sharp than good sparring. To help PAC I'm sure they will try to emulate Floyd but that is so damn hard. They have to work with what they can get....and the better the sparring the better prepared PAC will be.

  10. Sorry man, I disagree. What good is the sparring if it isn't going to emulate what is going to happen in the ring? I understand that sparring can benefit the average fighter in general, but we are talking about the best of the best. Andre Berto hurling punches at Manny does not help Manny in a fight with Floyd. Sorry. They would be better off bringing in a guys like D-Hop, and Junior Witter.

You are agreeing with what I said homie. I said they will get great sparring partners who will "TRY" to emulate Floyd. DLH did it with Shane, yet shane doesn't have anything close to the style of Floyd. All one can do is try to emulate Floyd and his habits in the ring. But the best thing is to get the best sparring mates with the same kind of natrual gifts, abilities and talent to prepare the best you can. Witter nor D hop have anything close to the style of Floyd and they don't have the speed or reflexes either.
