So what are you asking? Could anybody who has no technique out do the worlds strongest man? No? Could a decent wrestler take Pudz down easy. Yep.
Im saying just in general that, i dont think there is anybody out there who can push Mariusz around the ring or man handle him in any way with brute force alone - simple. Im not talking about a decent wrestler, see post. Thats why in first post i used the word physically.
So would a guy who cannot wrestle outwrestle Pudz? No. Would an average MMA HW wrestler outwrestle Mariuz yep.
Noone could beat Pudz in a strongman contest, but Lesnar would toss him about far more easily than you think.
I agree that, what you said is very likely to happen. But is this not a valid point in your opinion - quote from above "Im saying just in general that, i dont think there is anybody out there who can push Mariusz around the ring or man handle him in any way with brute force alone - simple."
well no **** Sherlock lol... ;p experience alone can win you fights, and thats in every sport not just MMA. this is Pudzians first fight ever in MMA, and quite possible, his first fight ever on video footage. now that we got a glimpse of Pudzian, w(h)e can progress from that... You guys are also forgetting the fact that the man only had like 2 or 3 weeks to train for this because he was still in the WSM competition... With more serious training and preparation, plus another fight or 2 or maybe 3 vs. some cans, than a decent journyman, than we can start comparing him to the big boys like Rogers etc... whoever. im not trying to hype Mariusz as the next big thing, but with proper preparation and training, theres no doubt in my mind he can unleash some carnage on the MMA scene. the guy already has advantages over a lot of fighters...
It just worries me that he's getting on a bit and isn't a fighter by trade. His strength will overwhelm lower level guys, but his team are gonna have to be really careful about how quickly they step up the competition. If they jump in with someone like Rogers too quickly, he'll get smashed. Needs watching too, because he's a name, he'll no doubt get offers he isn't ready for.
Pudzianowski has a long way to go. I would love to see him against Tank Abbott, but even that is too risky a fight if you are Pudzianowski's manager.
yep. Mariusz is a pretty smart guy and knows his limitations quite well (never had any real serious injuries in all his WSM competitions) as far as i know, i dont think Mariusz ever had anything seriously wrong with him as far as injuries go and thats good being he knows his limits quite well with a good manager, trainer and training, theres no doubt in my mind Mariusz can unleash his kielbasa power onto the MMA scene
Pudz has something over all MMA fighters, brute strength. But people, inc you are getting over excited because he is a big (very very very) strong man. But I can outwrestle guys that have 40lbs on me, roll them control them, filp sweep them them, an man im ****. Basically depends what you mean about the MMA scene dude.
It begins! :happy 277 was encouraging. It shows that he is serious. The man was 315ish in September for his last WSM competition. Make no mistake; It will be an uphill battle for him in MMA but who knows, stranger things have happened.
