Let me ask you this where were the Floyd fans after his Olympic success and he was putting on some of the best boxing exhibitions in recent memory? He was humble and respectful then but didn't get respect or big fights. Floyd changed his image and became the bad Guy to sell fights and market himself. Floyd plays the bad Guy role buy isn't a bad Guy in real life he has numerous charitable efforts and people who know him agree. The Floyd haters can't separate the two.

 

I mean I am a patriot whenever a british fighter had a title with exception to witter I supported them. But Floyd coming out with a statemenis like i AM A AMERICAN CITIZEN AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE SHOULD GET BEHIND ME. That tells me that floyd is worried that he won't have the support he should be having.

You mean Filipino's can't relate to his roots in poverty? They can't relate to him going away from home to earn extra money for his family? They can't relate to him being religious? Considering that the Philippines is a country that is mainly Catholic/Christian and a country where millions of Filipinos go to work abroad to earn money for their families I find that hard to believe.
