He sells tickets yes and does have amazing ability, nobody's denying that. He doesn't have the most crowd pleasing of styles though (especially these days) so that, coupled with his antics, causes people not to like him. If, as you say, he still sells tickets, why does it matter?

I wasn't actually saying he was a bad person, I was merely pointing out that the fact someone gives to chartiy doesn't make them a "good" person. Which is what Pimp C inferred.

He is not a bad person he is a good fighter. I think well want makes him a nob to me his the way he acts before a fight I know it sells tickets but so does being respectful.

Floyd has terrific skills, and if there was a sparring match on youtube with him for free, then i would watch it. But I don't want to pay 50 bucks for it.

Why is watching a fight that has a predetermined result exciting?

Now, Cotto-Pac was exciting because I didn't know what was gonna win and it was competitive early. I'm excited about Mayweather-Pac too. I was NOT excited about Mayweather-Baldomir.

    Understand the difference?

I like Obama, I like Pac, I don't like Floyd too much, don't like super arrogant white or black sports guys, and I really don't like Rush Limbaugh, but I do like Joe Scarborough ok. PS I'm an American, "technically" white guy. What I don't like about Floyd is what I don't like about Limbaugh, and it's got nothing to do with skin color.

I think Floyd being black does have something to do with some of the hate he gets, to deny that is to deny the obvious. With that said, I think that applies across the board for many other fighters of different nationalities.

As a Puerto Rican I can tell if a poster might be hating on Puerto Rican fighter just simply because he is Puerto Rican but if they aren't saying it directly then its no point in bringing it up because they will simply deny it and play the semantics game and try to act as if your being overly sensitive.

pimp c, I think you got racism mixed up with people who can't relate to today's egotistical youth and braids and or the sport of basketball.

Jumping on your country seems more to do with say wanting the Olympic team to win or Dirrell and Ward. Which makes it funny that after his statements Pimp C rooted against Dirrel in what was much more of a nation thing, rooting for the Euro instead. :rofl:rofl

While the rest of us "unpatriotic racists" rooted for Dirrell

I actually feel that if Floyd is envious of Mexican fighters who generally get their country backing. He is also envious of Pac's following.

However, as far as boxing goes and it pains me to say this PBF is the best pure boxer at the moment. One thing I will concede is that Pavlik got the type of love Floyd deserved.

I keep going back and forth on this one. Although Floyd should win, I think Manny has a very realistic chance of a ko win. I know the only bet I will make on this one is that I will watch it.
