floyd is a hateable guy...I like him and respect what he does but he doesn't even seem to mind being hated...PW is hated on here because he has a big fanbase and is hyped by HBO and instead of rooting for fighters people on ESB (BLADERUNNER) like to just hate on fighters...not sure the reason but it is every color...esp fighters who actually speak their mind like malignaggi and Floyd

 

i just make a point that a person was hated not because of his race but his attitude. being liked and embraced by an audience like a dela hoya is a different matter.

that's probably because his state has many folks that has hispanic origins? besides margo also has a nice attitude nevermind both of them are caught cheating. a nice attitude would help you get support, not necessarily to be a ticket attraction.

mike tyson was not exactly liked but he sells because of his entertainment value.

I'm a big Pac fan so this fight doesn't count. But Seriously, if Floyd was fighting a credible threat, if it felt that he was stepping into deep water on a fight, I would root for him. The fact that it never is deep water, that his skills mean he needs to fight bigger men not smaller men, keeps me from then, but if he did I would root for him.
