I'm glad you asked that. Of course he can win them, he's a great fighter, but I don't think he will; especially if he fights Shane straight after Pac.

I don't like the Cotto-Mosley Floyd-Mosley comparison though. Cotto had the power to discourage Shane, and I don't think Floyd does at welter. Could you not conceive of a situation where Shane over powers Floyd and possibly stops him?

"People will become vocal and defend There Guy to a disturbing Point that seems almost Like a Homosexual Infatuation with a man Defending there man to a point were they will Lash out on anybody giving credit to another fighter upon which whom will be fighter. This happens on the Net. This is getting a bit wierd."

That quote from another poster fits you perfectly.

That's why I said this fight doesn't count, because I'm already a Pac fan so of course I'm not gonna root against my fighter. Mayweather's fights that never happened were the fights where he would have won me over. Margarito, Cotto, Clottey, Mosley, Cintron, Williams, you know, those
    other guys in his division.

After again watching the DLH v PBF snoozefest, the more I think Floyd is going to get brutally beaten.

No. Mosley struggles with boxers that give him angles and a decent jab. Forrest, Wright, Mayorga, Cotto. Struggled with all 4. If Mosley cant time you, cant land the 1-2, he will struggle. Not to mention he's old.

He beat Margarito because Margarito played into his style.

Mayweather would beat Mosley easier then he beat Oscar.

So you don't think Floyd's lack of power to discourage Shane, like the others had, would be a problem for Floyd? I know Winky wasn't a power fighter but he was much bigger than Shane, who was never really a 154 fighter.

Okay Pacturd, explain a way to beat Floyd? It's the same old thing every time. Throw lots of punches and go to the body. Guess what? It won't work!

So do you "identify with Pacquiao's lifestyle"? How is your manager handling all of your endorsements? Are all of the flights around the world wearing thin on you? How's your training regimen going? Still attending that city-wide parade with the mayor? Still going to run for office?

Mayweather doesnt lack power. He buckled a 154lb Oscar de la hoya. Its not like he's Paulie Malignaggi. And his footwork and speed would have Shane swinging at air all night,.

Exactly. It is prizefighting and not the amateurs. He's fighting to WIN. He wants to WIN so that he can secure future paydays to feed his family.

This talk gets real boring but why the hell should people truly appreciate a huge ego, arrogant guy ? It's not just about Mayweather, the same would apply to any race out there...

Yes there's still too much racism in the US and black people take it personally, I understand that about the race thing... the arrogant part...not really !

...and if anyone knows a thing or two about black people, then they would immediately point out that being brash and arrogant ain't a culture thing for black people as a whole, but rather for the Caribbean cultured Jamaicans & Haïtians.

The African natives aren't as brash and arrogant by nature and actually make fun of their Caribbean counterparts... The Africans truly strive to be cultured and knowledgeable, they're not about their personas like the Jamaicans & Haïtians....

Bottom line, no one whether they are Arab, Asian, Latino, Indian, etc.. enjoy being around arrogant ego driven people unless they are young and /or arrogant and ego driven themselves.

Jean Pascal gets the same treatment in Montreal by many people that can't stand his arrogant self.... If he was white, I guarantee he'd get the same treatment...just a reality !!!

It may not but floyd will be in the fight of his life and may have to go through a big brick wall to win. Its not a forgone conclusion who will win.

How do you think Floyd would react to Shane's powerful body shots?

basically roach's plan when he coached oscar should have done the trick and it was very simple. use his reach and jab forward and it was working well. the problem is when oscar gets tired doing it in the latter end of the fight. now pac don't have oscar's reach nor height to do this so roach would be making new gamepaln based on pac's strength. but to say there is no gameplan to beat floyd is nuthugging at his best, joyboy.
