I agree with this, I think the problem in getting this fight will not be Vitali's terms but getting Haye to agree to take the fight and follow through. Maybe tonight's performance by Vitali will convince Haye now is the time he can beat VK.

STFU with the "and dont say Wlad", because its the truth, he is the only HW out there who could beat Vitali Klitschko. Its time the Klitschko's put up or shut up, nobody else out there matters or stands a chance in hell---so one of them needs to retire on top or just duke it out with eachother, because anything else is a let down.

David Haye beats Vitali surprisingly comfortably IMO. Vitali get put off balance very easily. He may trouble Haye early with his power but I think Haye, with his speed, could stop him Mosley vs Margarito style.

The point is that the fight will never happen, so it's irrelevant. I just can't see Vitali (or Wlad) doing it, especially at his age.

Power doesn't just vanish. In fact, it's said to be one of the last things to go on an aging fighter. He has a clumsy style in my judgment, and has been getting by on a limited skill set. I have no interest in Vitali Klitschko.

They might get along well now, but there is still a competitive relationship. I would be stunned if Vitali weren't motivated to finish with a better career record than Lewis, especially since it's within his grasp.

    No !!

Most of these modern day HW's are either too fat and don't belong in the division (Eddie Chambers, Estrada, Vargas, Solis, Povetkin, Arreola) ... you see some of these guys and they are probably natural light heavy's or even cruisers - only if they had discipline and were a bit more determined. But there is way more money in the HW division than any division in boxing ...

Vitali takes boxing serious, he's always in great shape and has the ability to go rounds if needed. He's tall, fast, very skilled, and has a great chin.

As of now, no one not even his brother would be able to compete ... His closest fight was Lennox Lewis and Lewis has been retired for years.

'who no-one ever came close to beating'

He's got a draw on his record!
The guy was a complete bum who had no business being in that ring!

He was in survival mode form the first bell. His whole family have cleaned up at the bookies as they had their life savings on him to go twelve rounds!!!

    Disgrace of a 'fight'!

I think that Kevin Johnson would beat Haye or Valuev.

This isn't a dig at you but I really think you should have watched the fight before you posted this thread (it's all on youtube).
Vitali was aweful and looked like he at aged 10 years since his last outing!

You guys talk like its easy to beat a 6'8 260 lb man, who has a good chin, great power in both hands, and has an unorthodox stance. In addition to that Vitali has very good defense ... the only fighter than truly got to him was Lennox Lewis.
