Paulie can't be serious calling out Marquez like that, Marquez will knock him out, quote me on that ****....

 

Marquez surprised me at 135 but I was never sold on him at that weight, much less anything above it.

Great at 126, excellent at 130. Anything above those weights, I can see him being "upset" by bigger men.

 

i disagree..only way marquez can knock him out is if paulie stands there and trades with him..and paulie isn't gonna do that...i see it going all 12 rds and 'maybe' even paulie pulling off the victory

 

paulie should go down to 135 if he wants to challenge jmm or at least a catchweight of 138.

 

I doubt that, Marquez is a master counter puncher and is alot smarter then Diaz I just don't see it going the distence imo...

 

i concur. guys that are extremely busy fighters like bradley and even possibly paulie would be wrong for marquez. if marquez is gonna try to box paulie like he tried to box with floyd, he's gonna get outboxed. paulie ain't floyd, but has an excellent jab. marquez needs to stay at 135 and valero needs to challenge him. that would be an interesting fight. paulie/ortiz sounds better to me.

 

135 sounds about right...

 

JMM is a good match up for Paulie. Paulie will be faster and this is his main advantage. I think this would be a competitive fight. Good comeback for JMM, but not an easy fight.

 

Paulie is still hittable. Diaz is not done at the weight of 140 but he is done period. He aint showing half of the skill he did earlier. No jabs.. no nothing. I think Marquez put a big dent in his helmet. Marquez knocked out casamayor who is more of a threat than Paulie... He can handle boxers....... A **** load of underrating Marquez on here. He is levels above a damn Paulie.

i know a lot of you might disagree but i honestly think paulie could beat him...he has speed..nice jab..he uses the ring well..i could honestly see JMM getting frustrated and forgetting his game plan as paulie outboxes him each round..paulie is a weak puncher but hes definitely a good boxer

 

Malignaggi - JMM is a good matchup... and I don't think either guy knocks the other one out.

 

jmm should not be fighting above 130. he was even troubled by baby turd diaz at 135 and he hits like a girl.

two counter hitters, awful fight if it happens.

 

Cotto couldnt knock him out @ 140, what makes you think Marquez will?

 

Marquez doesent frustrate to easy he's quick to adapt in the ring at any circumstance, Paulie is no mayweather and doesent have the power Marquez does...
