I can't believe people are actually playing the race card... Do you *******s understand the disrespect you pay to your ancestors when you do that bull****? They fought for your independence, not so you could manipulate their suffering for your own petty gains... ****ing useless losers...

I'm black, and while I marvel at PBF's skill/ring generalship I can't stand his attitude. I also don't buy the racecard bs about people wanting blacks to be humble and quiet. Maybe Jim Crow era America or when Jack Johnson and Joe Louis fought, but now that's an afterthought. Only old as **** Americans who grew up from those eras still think like that.

Floyd rubs many people the wrong way because he proclaims greatness as a welterweight but hasn't fought the fights to be considered the best welter out there. Then he discredits fighters past and present in ways that are so contradictory that's it's not even funny. For instance he says Mosley has five losses and isn't a PPV attraction but neither were any of his other welterweight opponents AND they had losses too(or looked like **** at the weight like Hatton did against Collazo)

Being the same color as me means nothing as far as my support goes. Being a jackass on the other hand means a whole lot more.

Great post. To follow it up, to any of you ESB forumers out there who have children. Would you tell your kids it's ok to look up to Floyd Mayweather Jr. because he's a champion while the guy is on tv throwing hundred dollar bills at the audience and talking badly about other boxers?

I certainly allow my kids to use Floyds discipline, insane training regime and intelligence n his sport as an example of what it takes to make it as a professional athlete or anywhere in life.

1, Racism is alive and well. Its not soley a attribute of those 50 and up

    2. Mayweather never proclaimed to be the greatest welterweight ever. He always says pound for pound the greatest fighter, which means his entire resume. And when Mayweather fought Zab and Baldomir they were TOP welters. And Oscar was a top 154ber.

    3. Hatton weighed the same against Floyd as he did against Paulie and Castillo
