I think Carl Froch has a great attitude in being willing to take on, the best on offer. In world title fights he beat undefeated Pascal, now WBC LHW champ, defended away to Jermain Taylor, & then defended against undefeated Dirrell. His next bout is against Kessler in Denmark, which is good form.
The thing that bugs me is that for all the things Froch can do well, he seems a lazy fighter at times, neglecting defence & tending to through one punch at a time instead of combinations. Against Dirrell (a fight which could have gone either way) Froch seemed to have no idea on how to cut the ring off to get to Andre, & against Taylor he was letting Taylor land combinations & just replying with single placed shots. Yes it payed off in the end, but he was well behind before the end came.
I think Froch is a good fighter who unless he starts holding his gloves up, throwing combo's & cutting the ring off, his career will start to go downhill from here on in. I hope not, but what you think?

Carl Froch is dead to most people on this board who are not from England.

His performance, or lack thereof against Dirrell, killed him.

He is going to need a big fight his next outing to get any credibilty back.

This prety much says it all. I mean he looked lousy against Dirrell. I've seen my share of slow, uncoordinated fighters before, but Froch would make my grandma look slick and fluid.

He needs to win and win impressly in his next outing otherwise stick a fork in him.

Froch is a likeable guy and has keen boxing knowledge. However, though he started out as one of the favorites to win the Super 6, it never really made any sense to me. I picked Dirrell to beat him, and still think he did. I think Kessler is going to take care of him quite easily, and especially more so in Denmark. Kessler's straighter punches will be the major difference in their match-up. After that, Froch faces Abraham. Kessler will be the beginning of the end, Abraham will be the absolute end. Froch's better days are easily behind him.

I would argue that Dirrell was the begining of the end for Froch.

Agreed with everything you said my man.

Kessler looked terrible and slow in his last outing as well, but his better overall technique should be enough to carry him to victoy over Froch... and Abraham takes Froch's ****ing head off. He's wide open for Abraham's bombs.

Apart from his millions, maybe she likes fact she can hide under his nose when it's raining?

Anyway, Dirrell was a terrible styles match up for Froch. He ran like a girl the whole fight. He clutched onto him and it took him 8 rounds before he started throwing shots. it was a less extreme version of Klitschko/Johnson. Froch's stock didn't go up but everyone know he's as tough as nails and always brings the fight. It was only Dirrell whose stock fell.

Don't talk for other countries little dick. I am from england and I no longer have much faith in this guy. Too much talk and not enough walk, I don't even think he should of won his last fight, I think he may even lose against Kessler, depending if Kessler turns up to fight or to hide, depending how he took his last loss.

I think Dirrell's stock rose. He was supposed to get pummelled and completely fold after feeling Froch's power. Froch's "granite" chin was supposed to allow him to walk through and discourage Dirrell's "weak" punches. None of this happened as expected. What happened instead was that Dirrell learned quickly on the job. And he probably learned more about boxing that night than he's learned in years.
