He could have easily fought at 130 if he just pumped out 5-7 miles daily during his training for a fight...

I believe he swims which is just not going to cut it (no pun intended).

The fat he has, won't go away. He's as fit as they come despite that belly. People talking about him going to 130lbs or even 126lbs, are out of their mind.

I'd say he was fit but chubby at lightweight. Above that, he's fit but too chubby and overmatched.

He could've always stood to shed a few pounds and fight at 130. If he had he might've been abel to land big fights with the likes of Morales, Pacquiao and MAB. In the end, coming in a little extra fat at 135 might've cost him opportunities to make money against the big name fighters.

The problem I have with his chubbiness isn't that it effects his stamina, which it doesn't.

The problem is that he is visibly not meant for 140 lbs. He's 135 at the highest, and could probably make it down to 130 if he really tried.

There's no such thing as fat that can't go away. It's most likely related to the lack of quality food intake on a regular basis. If his body doesn't lose the fat as easily as others do, then he should only eat organic products and concentrate a little more on metabolism boosters, always 100% organic. Regular food is loaded with toxins and deprived of most essential nutrients, which certain people's bodies can never fully adapt to...No alcohol, no artificial sugars and lots of proteins to kickstart the metabolism at the very beginning of each day is important !

Even if he drains donw to 115 it wont make up for his lack of skill.

im a runner, and you cant expect anyone to run that much per day...it has to be leveled out...you should run 2 to 3 miles one day, 4 the next take off a day of running, then back to 4 miles, then do a day of just speed bursts, and have one long run say on a sunday of 7 or 8 miles... otherwise the guy wouldnt be able to walk and his legs would be ****ed
most fat like he has comes from not eating the right food
you can run all day long, but if you eat like ****, you will not lose that dough on the love handles

What the **** is wrong with you? What do you mean the fat he has won't go away? Hey internet genius-- if you eat less calories than you burn you lose weight. Period.

I guarantee you put Juan Diaz on a deserted island for 30 days and he'll be skinny as hell. The reason he's fat is he doesn't exercise and/or diet enough.

Exactly! Joe Frazier was a guy who could not emphasise the importance of rodwork enough. Even Frazier came in heavy for some fights, but when in his biography, Joe talks about the importance of roadwork!

    Why does Juan not run?
