Haye is afraid to fight apparently, he had the chance to prove himself & he chose to fight Valuev, who nobody called the real champion, instead.

 

He completley dominated a fighter that had never tasted defeat before. A fighter who was in survival mode from the first bell. I'll give Johnson credit that he was capable at rolling away from shots and has a decent chin.

Thanks for the 'subtitles' on genetics. The fact is Klitschko is the size he is, and uses his gentetic advantages very well. To say he has no skill just shows me how much you know.....**** all.

How can you complain about last nights fight but then come back with the arguement that Haye is the saviour of HW boxing. Didn't you see the Haye v Valuev fight???? One of the worst fights in history, and it was coz Haye was running like a ****ing *****. But now he's your saviour. Thats ****ing amusing, what a *****!!!!!

Yeah because Valuev is a known one punch KO artist with speedy combinations & he's fleet of foot to boot.


Honestly, you guys have no argument when you rank on Klitschko for shutting out an undefeated young contender while praising Haye who just barely edged the slowest Heavyweight to hold the title.

 

Maybe you're right about Haye's skill and athletisim, but Vitali isn't 220 and thats all there is to it. If Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps didn't have to the genetics they do they wouldn't be so dominant. While hard training and dedication are important, against another hard trainer with superior gentics you'll always come up short.

I agree his performance wasn't the most dynamic last night, but lets be honest it didn't need to be. He isn't in his early 20's and has picked up some career threatening injuries along the way, so while last nights fight was not the most fan friendly type of fight, looking at it from his point of view why risk it for a nobody. I'm sure if he was in a tougher fight he'd fight out of his skin, and to his credit he has done exactly that in the past

Have you ever heard of James Toney? Floyd Mayweather Jr? Bernard Hopkins? Solid defensive fighters? Kevin Johnson is a solid defensive fighter without an offense (or with his offense being limited by Vitali Klitschko), a pathetic display of the so-called old school American style, all the skills and hard work just to survive and spoil and not to get tagged like Lennox Lewis was. But how many times Vitali "Not Worth a F*ck" Klitschko was tagged in the last 5 years?

I was thinking of the same thing as I was watching the fight last night. His height, length...etc, keeps him winning. I was also thinking, what if the challanger, had a style like Joe Fraiser??

Vitali beat the **** outta Peter, Gomez & Arreola back to back victories by TKO and one scared fighter survives until the final bell & Vitali sucks, has no power, fights like a robot, etc, etc.
