    Which is...................

Last night I watched a WBC Heavyweight Title fight with a casual sports fan and have never been so embarrased. Vitali "Not Worth a F*ck" Klitschko couldn't pull the trigger against a clearly demented Ali Wanabee challenger who looked like he wanted his ass kicked.

For Klitschko to be considered the best fighter on earth and be compared to ""skilled warriors" like Ali, Holmes, Holyfield, Lewis and Tyson is repulsive. Neither brother has ever been my cup of tea but last night almost f*ckin killed me off completely.

The only positive thing I can say is that the man is a great athlete and a nice person but that doesn't make him a great fighter. He wins because of his genetics, reach and physical dimensions and pound for pound couldn't hold off the most mediocre of heavyweight challengers.

With all of that purported experience, are you too stupid to realise that the man is 39 years old? Do you know what 90 percent of all other heavyweight champs were doing at that age? They were sitting on a beach 80 pounds overweight! You can thank God all you want for the untested and potentially dominant David Haye, but it'd all be an act of wishful thinking. The man is a engima who only seems to fight once a year. He also is injury prone at an early age, which doesn't bode well for his future.

As for Wlad, he'd be a huge favorite if Haye and he ever tangle. :D

Hopefully your smart enough to know that age is a factor, and that when Ali returned he was still in his twenties and Leonard was about the same. Vitali is 39! Do you folks not understand that age actually has an effect? I guess not.

Haye's fight against Valuev was garbage. He sqeeked a decision against
Valuev that is embarrasign for someone who wants to take HW division by storm.

Your evaluation of Klitschko-Johnson fight seems totaly amateurish. Klitschko enters the ring with a mind set to win a fight first and foremost, not to knock out a guy or look spectacular. It would be very unwise for him to go broke on the guy and try to rip his head off with every punch. You mention Lennox Lewis but Lennox Lewis fought another exciting fighter and a knockout artist in David Tua and their fight stunk a joint.

Lennox Lewis only won 2 rounds against Klitschko but yeah Ali.....he would win every round against any boxer, he is Ali afterall, the greatest of all time.

If anything, the Kilt fans are showing themselves up for the fact-twisting maniacs they are, while the Klit dislikers (there are no haters on this thread just because they happen to dislike the guys' fighting styles) are basically blaming Vitali for how dreadful Johnson made that fight.

It was a dreadful match. It's not Vitali's fault that he has such woeful opposition, but no one can say he's a great on the basis of who he's beating.

Fact: the best guy he faced he lost to. Competitive, "unfair" stoppage... whatever, he lost.

The brothers just don't make for good fights. their styles mean they neutralise smaller opponents, then they pick them apart methodically. It's admirable on a technical level, but you'd be hard pressed to say it's exciting.

I'll watch Wlad vs Chambers, but I can't imagine it being much better.

I am not a big fan of the Klit bros . . . but I do respect them. They are the best heavies on the planet right now (unless there is someone hiding in Cuba somewhere). But last night proved two things two me. 1: it re-enforced the fact that the heavyweight division sucks and 2: VK and WK should never ever be mentioned in the same breath as the great heavyweights of the past. They may have been average fighters in the Lennox/Tyson/Bowe/Holyfield era. Highly regarded contenders who may have held on to the trinkets for a short period of time. I really do respect these guys but you have to be honest with there skill level and era when you asses them. They are not and never will be an ATG.
