I am a big katsidis fan, but i think Zappa might have his measure even now if they were to fight. he has a high workrate, so i have them even on most things, but i just think he is so much younger, he could take him out. maybe they could fight here for katsidis' wbo lightweight belt

Nope. Katsidis would wreck him now.

Not trying to sound negative/rude but how can you justify that Katsidis woud 'wreck' him? at best i think it would be an even agressive contest. Yes of course Katsidis would be favoured , but not to destroy?

I think it´s entirely justified. Who´s Lenny been in with that would make you think otherwise. Katsidis via KO...

Whole different world. Lenny isn't experienced enough to handle fighting a hard 3 minutes for every round. Katsidis does that in his sleep.

Katsidis would stop him in about 6-8 rounds. That's not knocking Zappa..it's just that he isn't ready for that kind of opponent.

agreed, katsidis has proved himself world class and can hang at the top, in his losses he wasn't exactly outclassed or not in with a shout

Fair enough, look im a massive Kats fan, massive.

But i just see a Tzsuy v Hatton (on a much smaller scale) happening again.
Everyone thinking no way can lose, whos he been in with etc. while younger, hungrier fighter comes along.

Then again, whos hungrier than Katsidis in this sport

It could be one of Katsidis' WBO defences if Marquez vacates full belt.

Katsidis definitely at this stage of their careers due to his vast experience at the top level in comparison to Zappa.
In a couple more years we will be able to assess Zappa better & our opinions may change.

No way Zappa would win this, way too early for him to fight a guy of Katsidis' class.

Yes maybe......I think Rocky is looking for some big name fights ATM

Zappa is looking to work himself through the ranks in the US under Shaw from 50 to 15.

If it was for a world title then I would say go for it :good

I'm a big Zappa fan and also love the way Rocky fights as well.

For zappa its a win win....no shame in going down to Rocky provided its not a round 1 shutout.

Lets face facts Rocky has a far better record but so did Ottke when Mundine fought him and so did Sturm when Pitman fought him.

Matter of fact Zappa has had better fights than Mundine and Sturm had before their World title fights :deal

I dont think the fight will get made but I would love to see it now or in 16 months :yep

Kats for sure. He's gained the big fight experience & knows what it takes to win at the top level. Zappa in 2 years though could be anywhere the way he's going.
