I already dealt with Leonard's comeback victory in the last post. What the **** is a "manufactured assembly pro record" ? The stats on Boxrec, like all stats, are created by the outcomes of fights. You know, a record of what happened, as opposed to some guy with sand in his mangina sounding off because he doesn't like reality, the way it actually IS. You appear to have trouble with actual FACTS. Give yourself a break and go take a nice relaxin' ****. You sound a bit constipated. Because you say so ? Agaiin, troubled by FACTS that you don't like, that you can ridicule, but can't dispute. Aside from the fact that you don't belong in the group consisting of "...anyone who has a clue about the sport," Leonard's win against Hagler is NOT universally regarded as "the best comeback in boxing history." While it certainly ranks as a great comeback victory, many fans and experts (with GOOD clues) will cite others as equal or better. Jim Braddock, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali to name a few. And certainly Klitschko's domination and KO of the fearsome Peter, after multiple surgeries and four years off ranks up there. Your opening rant on Klitschko and his performance tells any reasonable reader all they need to know about your biases. I've been following the sport for approximately twice as long (since Ali Liston 2) and there have undoubtedly been more exciting fighters than either Klitschko. But it's hardly Vitali's fault if a big undefeated ****-talking boxer like Johnson is so frightened that he wants only to make history by just surviving with an old man in the twilight of his career. Like it or not, the Klitschkos rule the division at this time, with no one else even close. I'm sure the brothers are going to be upset though when they hear that YOU are going to boycott them. BTW: I can say with near certainty that you'll be closely watching every single Klitschko fight until they both retire.
That people picked Peter at all was hilarious and goes some to say why it's hard to place Vitali particularly highly in the entertainment stakes. Peter was a plodder who had already been beaten in a pretty boring fight with Wlad. Peter is crude and slow, with only a performance against an old, worn-out, fat Toney - a former MW if I can remind you - to give him any credibility. He looked iffy against Maskaev when he won the title too. So, let's not pretend it was an especially noteworthy comeback. It was good, but I think it said more about Peter's limitations as a short-armed, thick necked clubber than Vitali's incredible talent.
Look at the effort you put into this COMPLETE bull****! There's as much chance of me watching the Klit's again as there is of me taking your opinions seriously! Boxing rec rules, champ! Hahahahaha
Of course there was an alterior motive behind this thread. We want more performances from the HW saviour like he put on against Valuev.
You already wasted a lot of time discussing a fighter you are boycotting. It looks like Vitali has gotten under your skin and I'm sure you'll check out his next fight.
I have read and digested what your saying and too a point i agree with most of it. You like David Haye because he looks like a heavyweight boxer/athlete should look, he fights well, throws a lot of shots, works of his jab, trying to break his opponant down and get the ko (except the valuev fight for obvious reasons injury/correct style too adopt). As for the Hatred towards VK WK well they can only fight what is put in front of them and sometimes fighters don't look too hot against opponants that aren't coming too fight. Haye was contracted too fight WK but pulled out, there was absolutely nothing that WK could do too prevent this, whether it be for legitimate reasons, polotics or other BS. I am not a big fan of V or WK but there style is there style, they use what advantages the have to win although it don't look pretty its the way it is. Mayweather has the best defence in boxing, watching him sit on the ropes and shoulder roll, avoid and block shots whilst occasionally potshotting back isn't the most attractive form of the science too watch. With that being said he is ranked as one of the top current fighters and i'm sure will go down as an ATG. Bottom Line is just because you don't enjoy viewing a fighters style that don't mean he is no good.
One fight and suddenly Klitschko is a rubbish fighter. He had an off night but won every round against a slippery opponent who refused to even fight. Not every fight is going to provide fireworks.
This is a bad comment Haye only fought Valuev because to fight one of the brothers he had to sign a clause to fight a rematch and the other brother because they knew he wanted a heavyweight title. When Valuev became available of course Haye ****ing jumped at the chance so that he would have the belt WK wanted and not have to sign a rediculous ****ing contract.
King of Cali: Your logic is flawed in every way and your only intention is to stir up trouble. You say that it they only get by due to their genetics: Most fighters do mate. Everything is in part genetic. Athleticism, reflexes, height, speed, power. You can train everything to get better and you can eat right to get taller. Klitschko's genetic strenght is his height and punching power. Thats two out of alot. He then adds good skill and fundamentals onto that and you have a great heavyweight champion making perfect use of what he got.
