Saying it was the best AA I've seen doesn't mean I thought JT did a good job. Taylor sucked in that fight because he is shot to ****. Abraham did a better job with his jab than he usually does, he was a bit more active than normal, and he stayed off the ropes and out of the corners. However, he did those things against a fighter who is clearly done. Pavlik stuck JT in the oven and turned on the heat. Froch cooked and plated him. All Arthur did was stick the fork in.
What an awesome world that would be, if all contracts in all walks of life were null and void at the first sign of ill portent.
knockouts aside, he dropped pavlik, he dropped froch and was holding his own against abraham hes not done in terms of competitiveness he just can't take the big clean shots now. By carrying on I think you can see the old dog has something left in him, call it pride or call it foolishness but I reckon hes gonna gamble on getting ward out early by going for broke, I think taylors gonna be swinging for the fences and good on him. and the new....
Im not a JT fan by any means I want him to win for refusing to be "done" or retired by the so called experts and fans I want him to win for the fighters who fight for the voice inside of them saying dig in and fight on, ignoring the naysayers
The voice in Taylor's head that tells him to keep fighting on is that of Andrew Jackson, and Ben Franklin.
