All people do in these posts anyways is throw internet haymakers around claiming everyone else who doesn't agree with them obviously doesn't know boxing/is racist/blind and deaf. I am just deferring.

Tough fight to call. I see Bute's southpaw style and tricky body attacks breaking down Pascal gradually towards a stoppage. Pascal is no ride in the park though and can give Bute the fight of his life.


If Bute takes fights with Pascal and Miranda (I'm betting on him to get by Stieglitz), it keeps him occupied with serious opposition while the S6 declares a winner.

Pascal makes huge mistakes that can be capitalized perfectly by a guy like Bute.

 

I think his style has reformed quite a bit since the Froch fight, I haven't seen him too too wild since. He does leave the left hand down a bit but he's got the quickness to compensate. His head movement has impressed me of recent, and a healthy Pascal can definitely bang.

To me he makes the same old mistakes every fight.He got wild at least a half dozen times in the Diaconu rematch,he's defensively flawed,like you said he keeps his hands down to much even though his reflexes are superb,he backs straight out with his hands down,is inconsistent,doesn't rely on his jab as he should,etc.
He has proiven to be extremely tough,have a good chin,good power,workrate but way to may mistakes IMO.
Plus his shoulder gae out in a bad way on him fridat.Only a number of times that you can get away with it and he was just a bit away from quiting as he himself acknowledged.

 

First both are my favorites boxers so it's a heartbreaking choice!

Bute got better movements then Pascal both can hit with power and speed! I don't see one of them going on the canevas if this fight happens.

I'll have to go with Bute close UD 115-113 or 116-112 because i thik Bute do less mistake.

 

At this moment in time, Bute by close UD; but if Pascal keeps improving as he is and at the rate he is then when it will probably happen in about a year and a ahlfs time, then Pascal wins, maybe by knockout.

 

Pascal lost to Froch. Lost on POINTS to Froch. Got outboxed by Froch.

Bute would knock him out late rounds.

 

Pascal is a flashy fighter and he will always get people's attention because of that but Bute is a better overall boxer and he would take Pascal to school for 12 rounds.

Pascal is good but not as good as he looked because of Diaconu which is the perfect prototype of a one dimensional fighter. Diaconu has good technique and power but he's a little slow with his punches and moves straight forward with a very ordinary defence besides keeping his gloves high.

Pascal-Bute would get exciting at times but I'm sure we'd see the skill difference as the fight progresses..
