I will say this, Tua vs Ruddock would've been a ton of fun.

Ruddock's lesser durability in comparison would've probably let him down in the end, but he'd ding Tua pretty damn good for several rounds.

This is one of the more silly comments I've read in this forum. Please get back to the kitchen, I think somethings burning.

Tua-Ruddock is a top notch fantasy.

    Agreed. Unecessarily harsh.

Tua is really nothing like Tyson. They're both short, and have power but that's it, stylewise they're not even remotely alike. I don't understand why people insist on comparing these two guys.

I think Tua would blow away Ruddock and Bruno. He has the potential to beat the rest, but would likely come up short once or multiple times along the way. It doesn't matter who, they all could jab and move okay.

He was a good fighter but people want to seriously overrate this guy for some reason. I recently watched his fight with Ibeabuchi, presumably one of his better efforts. Several things for me seperate Tyson from him: Handspeed, footspeed, head movement. I appreciate your realism. I don't dislike Tua, just the penchant to overrate him.

    I don't have time for idiots. :D

However, Tua reminds me of Tyson in a lot of ways. They're both short, stocky, fast and have tremendous power and early knockouts. Tua is not as good as Tyson; there is a reason he hasn't won a belt. But when I watch Tua fight, he instantly reminds me of Mike. I think Tyson was an influence to David, much like Dempsey was an influence to Tyson himself.

For starters, Old man Holmes would have made Tua look like a clown.

He wouldn't get past Tony Tucker, if he even gets that far. And I dont think Tucker was anything special.

Even a Trevor Berbick could possibly be made to look like a boxing master against Tua.

Thomas was looking jaded and faded against Tyson, but he might outbox Tua too. He sure could take a punch, and probably plod out a decision with jabs and a little bit of movement.

I'll say. It takes a good ten minutes to successfully wrap my lips around something the size of a raisin. I wasn't gonna tell these guys your secret, but you gave me no choice. :hi:
