Tired of these supposed contenders rolling over for the Klitchko's.

Is Fast Eddie the man to finaly stand up and Walk the Walk?

I think it's quite clear that Eddie Chambers is the best American HW. I do believe he will put up a fight against either Klitschko brother. Nothing wrong with a good losing effort, I don't see him winning, but he won't come into the ring obese like Arreola or timid like Johnson.

Chambers has the ability, But his lack of power is/will be his downfall.
(Not enough to beat either Klit., Tho he stands a better chance w/Wlad)

Chambers is skilled and not afraid of a challenge. But there are still 4 maybe 5 fighters out there that I'd pick to beat him.

I don't think the U.S will have the number 1 HW until Deontay Wilder comes to fruition in 3/4/5 years. That guy has a hell of a lot going for him in my opinion.

I get the impression that he will at least give it a go which will be nice to see for a change.

I'd much rather be able to say to my grand kids that I went in the ring with a Klitchko tried to win and got banged out than I survived the 12 by never trying to win!

I think it's close beetween Thompson and Chambers.

Thompson is underrated the fight with Wladimir was even until the KO.
Unlike some other guys (like Rahman) Thompson deserves another big fight

Chambers couldn't come in more obese then Arreola if he'd have his training camp for 3 Months at the Burger King... And to fight more cowardly then Johnson one would have to cut his balls out before him stepping into the ring. So it can be only better fight, worse is absolutely impossible - even Butterbean would show way better fight despite of the weight, and even a **** scared chicken would show more aggression then Johnson did...

Agreed though Wilder has some things to work on he also needs to get in the ring with somebody who knows how to fight. All if his opponents are punching bags with arms. You cant go from high level amateurs "Olympic medal" to fighting total bums. You get lazy you get no opposition you develope bad habits. He could honestly fight much better guys. Think he is an American future hopeful once he develops but he is young and has potential.

Fast Eddie would have been chopped down by the fighter who's much bigger, stronger, busier and harder to hit than Povetkin. Vitali got hit by 5 power shots in 12 rounds! How exactly Chambers with a much shorter reach than Johnson (who had a reach advantage over Vitali) wins 7 rounds?

But hey, Chambers would've FOUGHT for the WIN, therefore would've opened up and chopped down in the process. I have a whole lot of respect for fighters going out on their shield. I have no respect for Johnson for spoiling the fight.
