His chin is vastly over rated its decent but people who call it granite behave, he was on ***** street against Dirrell ffs.
I think Froch will stop Kessler late on, dont think Kessler has the power to stop Froch, if Pascal could not do it then Kessler wont, and Pascal landed some heavy shots flush i that fight..
I seriously doubt Kessler could stop Froch too, Kessler on points but Froch will make it much closer than people think. I know he looked like **** in the last fight and quite a bit of the Taylor fight but in the Pascal fight he did show fine boxing ability in parts and given Pascals recent performances its looking like a mighty fine victory for the WBC belt. I suppose alot will depend on what Kessler changes in the lead up to the fight, there was obviously problems with the prep and the corner during the fight...The current set-up would probably get Kessler past Froch but I wouldnt want to risk it. Kessler and Froch will both give much better showings in their next super six outing, that much I am sure of. I'll go with Kessler 8-4
Kessler in 10. Still think he is the goods and i think he is a level above Froch. No disrespect to Froch, i wouldnt mind him winning if only for British boxing.
As much as I like Froch, and I had him betting dirrell 114-113... Kessler UD's him.... Froch comes running in and throwing looping punches way too much, and won't land hardly anything significant on Kessler....Kessler's defense will frustrate Froch....and he will make more and more mistakes as the fight goes on... Wide UD kessler...be supporting froch though...
Up until the Ward fight I would have picked Kessler by late stoppage after winning every round. But he was so utterly clueless and **** against Ward that I have lost a huge amount of conviction in his abilities. That said, Froch is slower, less skilled and offers none of the problems that Ward did. I will go with Kessler UD but it is now at least interesting as Kessler was totally dominated by Ward and how he reacts mentally could be a significant factor.
I think (well, it's obvious) that Kessler is at his best when his opponents stand in front of him. Andrade, Calzaghe (early on) and his recent opposition (except Ward) have all done that...... I'd expect Froch to do that as well. Kessler UD 117-111 ish, but a stoppage in his favour wouldn't surprise me.
