Hopkins UD.too many tricks in his arsenal for Danny.unless Danny gets him out of there early Hopkins will win a wide decision.hope im wrong though.
Hopkins frustrates the **** out of Danny for 12 long, not-so-entertaining rounds. I'd like to say ko to hop but his lower workrate will take it to the cards. He's too tricky and intelligent. IMO Greens only shot is Hopkins taking him too lightly
As with Roy, my heart says Danny and my head Hopkins, but Hopkins is waaaaay ahead of where RJJ was pre the Green fight. I can see an ugly fight with lots of controversy about the scoring, Green with lots of activity vs a few nice clean punches from BHop every couple of rounds. My money will be on Danny and I'd like to see a brutal KO but i don;t think it would happen. Hopkins can fight but he is also a tool, so seeing him cop one would be nice. Here's hoping he ages v quickly between now and the fight. If Roy was a 3 - 1 favourite then BH would have to be 5 - 1, which could be very lucrative
Bhop all day, he'l survive the first 2 rounds and its all down hill for green. Apart from a 1st round knockout, what possible fights of greens could you refer to that would make you think he could beat hopkins - heaps of heart but boxing wise he's limited
I chose Green by KO in the poll, but I also like Green by UD - as someone previously said, Green will be too busy for Hopkins - of course that depends on Green being able to maintain the pace for 12 rounds if he can't get a big shot on Hopkins. We didn't see enough of him vs RJJ to determine his stamina these days, but I think Green took RJJ very seriously and will also take Hopkins very seriously, and will train hard for him, so we could well see a Green UD win. I hope he can keep the Green train rollin' - a win over both RJJ and Hopkins would look very nice on his resume :yep
hopkins on points, he has given me no indication that he has faded since the fight with pavlik, where he looked pretty awesome. but boxing is a sport where anything can happen.
Depending on what the bookmakers say, I'd be happy betting on either guy. I'd be surprised if BHop wasn't favourite.
