You think Tyson would've got to Roy early then?

    Tyson in 3.

Tyson was fast enough to close the gap and would have lifted Jones to Mars within the first 3.

    Prime Roy beats prime Tyson.

The Jones from the Ruiz fight probably loses though.

Prime tyson would def knock him out. but the old tyson which was around at the time of the Ruiz fight would get embarrassed.

I'm looking more at the mental side of this fight. Tyson would never had faced anyone like Jones Jnr if they had met. Yes, his power would've floored him undoubtedly. I genuinely think if Roy had gotten past three rounds he'd screw with Tyson's head. I'm not convinced Tyson would've been able to handle that.

Tyson went 12 rounds three times in his career, James Smith, Tony Tucker and Ruddock (second time around). There is no way Tyson would've prepared himself for a twelve rounder. I think his discipline might've went out the window. I genuinely believe Jones could've won that fight.

Jones would have needed his performance enchancing drugs, no doubt.

But Jones would make Tyson feel foolish and mentally implode.

Anything less than a prime, juiced up Jones though and it is a Tyson KO.

:lol:Total nonsense, prime Tyson destroys Jones of ANY era, middle, super, heavy, you name it. Jones would have backed away but eventually got caught off Tyson, no question. Thats like sayin Mayweather beats Prime Tyson

Id have been surprised if Roy heard the bell to end round one.
He'd have been a deer in the headlights, and he would have been frozen with fear.
Jones was a brilliant, brilliant super-middleweight and light heavy, a p4p great, but a prime Tyson was as fast as him, and punched with bad intention and in combination.
Im a fan of both, but Jones has no chance, and I think its done inside one.

Gosh and i love Roy Jones..

But no Light Heavyweight in History..I repeat in History.

    Can Beat Mike Tyson..

Infact no LH..and no all time great CW.

Accept Evander Holyfield.."In his Heavyweight days..if you still count that"
