He fights more times in a year than any other heavyweight champ in the last 15 years that I can remember. Man he fought 3 times this year! I can't even remember the last HW champ that did that.

This year he fought 3 times......but you have to go all the way back to 1999 to find the last year he did it.

He's cramming in a few pay days before he's past his sell by date.

Correct. Peter, Gomez, Arreola, and Johnson. 29 rounds boxed, 28 rounds won! 3Ko's, and 120-108. 120-108, and 119-109 score card.

All four men were ring magazine ranked opponents. Impressive in any era. And he's 38 years old.

One thing you can't take away from him.........

    ..............he beats everyone he faces..............

Never before in the history of the sport has a super big heavyweight been as skilled as Vitali Klitschko.

He is now 38 and still put on a full 12 round fight and won every round with a VERY high punch out put. Being that he's 6 foot 7-8, AND 38 years old..........that is impressive by anyone's standards.

And had Johnson not been so timid, Vitali would have KOed him.

    from
    March 7, 1987- March 21, 1988

    Bonecrusher Smith - title unification
    Pinklon Thomas- - title defense
Tony Tucker- unification of all 3 belts
    Tyrell Biggs- title defense

Lennox Lewis fought three world title bouts in 2000, and also in 1997.

He's awkward... as in "Difficult to handle or manage" not awkward as in "Not dexterous; clumsy."
