Just a little annoying...seeing as I've been looking forward to it. No big deal though.

I've waited two months for the sets I spoke about earlier:DI can understand your frustration.

The Napoles one is a real gem; some quality fights on there to add to the ones I already have. He even looks sensational in the Monzon fight, whilst it lasts.

    Ouch!

I just watched Yuh vs Son and it was a brilliant and brutal display by him. He was staying in the pocket and firing off combinations against a pretty spirited fella, who's shots were were being picked off mostly. A fair few got through, but the shots Yuh were landing was brutal. Fight should have been stopped in round 2, and it was eventually stopped by a body shot. An amazing display of defense whilst on the offensive by Yuh, very underrated in the defensive category for me.

First thing I really liked about him was his defence; Left/right hands alternate to the appropriate part on his head and he can counter with his free hand to either head/body. Like it.

Really like it when he digs into the body, and Yuh really digs it in, making the most of his strength. As you have said, he's not a 'puncher' by any means, but a spiteful, accurate and hurtful one IMO:good

Hit the nail on the head mate. He was picking off nearly all of this guys hooks by taking them on his gloves. Very very efficient work, if he had been a puncher, the fight would have been over in the 2nd round.

I really like the way he takes the shots on his gloves. As I say, the way he quickly moved his hands up/down his head to pick off shots really impressed me; he has a good defensive radar, even if he is at times hittable.

As has already been pointed out, he does a lot of things well but not everything perfectly. He does just enough not to make himself deficient in any areas. A real workmanlike attitude to his work:good

:good No arguments with any of that. I do think his defense was arguably his standout traits, aside from his work rate and stamina. It must be really hard to be so offensive and still not get hit on a regular basis. Son was being dominated from start to finish, and usually when you have a spirited guy infront of you, you take big shots too...but really wasn't the case. Yuh was playing offense and defense at the same time, and I think some better fighters than Yuh have problems doing it.

Think I've got about..........hmmmmm.........6(?) Yuh fights. Not sure if that's one of them.

Might have to get onto RB about getting some more. Got some Giardello (of RBs choice), Gavilan (full Turner fight) and Louis (to complete my collection) on the way. And obviously my Fisting DVDs to watch:lol:

One thing I've noticed about Foster is that he doesn't seem to take shots well. Almost seems to freeze, and not just at Heavy.

Lucky he had the timing, accuracy and phenomenal punching power to get his opponents out of there. So phenomenal in fact that I wouldn't even favour Ezzard Charles to beat him 100% (though I feel he'd have the best chance, or maybe Spinks, whose awkwardness, size and own power would cause Foster problems)

I haven't seen enough of Foster, but I'm a big fan of Spinks...who I see having more dimensions to his game than Foster. Foster to me, from what I've seen, was a patient banger...not much in the way of foot work. Would I be wrong?

No you wouldn't. Foster is one of the most fearsome 'stalkers' I've ever seen, always punctuated by his brilliant and consistant jab. Patient, yes. And he doesn't waste much at all. When he throws his shots, they either miss by a whisker or leave you flat on your back.

I've been a fan of his for while, watching everything I've got now to get a full gauge of his strengths(which I know) and weaknesses (which are becoming more apparent as I watch)

He's just an absolute Monster though; He vs Spinks would be a fantastic fight with a chilling ending either way IMO.
