I dont believe Hopkins when he claims he wants to challenge David Haye.
Hopkins is a hall of fame fighter, but he is very rarely the smaller man in his fights. Yes I know there was Tarver, but he is slow of hand and foot, which Hopkins knew he could exploit. His biggest MW wins were against De La Hoya & Trinidad and when you think Hopkins career started at LHW. Since beating Tarver he hasnt fought a natural LHW since, and wanted no part of a prime Jones Jnr.
So saying he wants to meet Haye, ill believe it when its signed

Firstly, it wont be signed because that fight doesn't benefit Haye and what he's trying to achieve.

Bhop is just jawing, every top fighter has an ego and while he may believe he can beat Haye, he also knows that fight won't happen.

I believe Hopkins. He believes he can neutralize Haye's right hand and beat up Haye and stop him. In my mind Haye's right hand is too quick and Haye is just too fast and strong at this higher weight.

hopkins is a big fan of the great archie moore so maybe he is trying to become like archie and fight for the hwt title. I hope it does happen. You can never count b hop out thats for sure

He already did a 180 on Adamek, so I don't believe he will go for Haye. He just wants to keep his name in the news. Besides, Haye won't come down to CW until he fights Klits or Adamek and there is no one better left to fight.

Isn't Hopkins part of Golden Boy?
