I thought Paul lost the first 4 rounds, but he never looked intimidated or worried. He just kept the pressure on and Martinez couldn't keep up. In my opinion Sergio looked like he was starting to have trouble with PW's pace by the end of the 4th.
The funny thing here is in the article provided Kelly states that he was gonna be stripped of the belts on Dec 19th if he didnt fight yet he talks as if he wanted to make the fight with PW late janurary, so wouldn't he have been stripped of the titles anyway? Would they have allowed the fight to go on in janurary w/o stripping his titles? Im just asking so let me know!
I think a Pavlik/Miranda rematch would be very different from the first fight. Several post-miranda comments from Team Pavlik inferred that Kelly made the first fight harder than it needed to be. The plan for the first fight was so simple it was ridiculous: use left hooks and right hand bombs to keep EM on the back foot. If they fought again I think Pav would take a lot less damage, and just box Miranda's ears off.
