    you need more than a chin to be there, but without a chin guys like Hagler might not have been at the top since they did take punches in thier career against the best.

    He's the guy that came to mind when I saw this thread, although no fighter can get far on a chin alone.

    McCullough did also have amazing stamina and an incredible work-rate, which made him a tough proposition for any fighter out there.

    McCullough did manage to win an Olympic Silver medal aswell though(losing to Casamayor in the final), showing he has some skills, but it was more a case that he left plenty of opportunities to counter him due to his perpetual motion style that meant he was easy to hit.

    He could soak up one hell of a body shot aswell McCullough, just an all round remarkably tough man.
