yea im right, ive never claimed his resume is great!, im saying his fight with lewis made him!, i know he lost the fight, but the performance which he fought was worthy to be rememberd for. Wlad has never been in a fight like that 1, so i dont rate him as high

Mercer was a tough fight. Wasn't a defence though.

Some pictures of Željko Mavrovič from recent years (to me, he looks extremly skinny). He seems to be some kind of eco-farmer these days...

I dont see how Mercer or that version of Brewster who was not medically cleared to fight in the US are even worth mentioning.

Mavrovič had a disease which retired him. You can still see the physical effects.

As Max said to Lewis during Vitali's last fight, "your stock goes up everyday" or something to the effect of the more Vitali wins, the better Lennox looks....years down the road the same could happen for Vitali

Vitali has 4 prime years absent in his resume, whether it would have improved it much more is debatable given the landscape of the division during that time, but it would have helped...Lennox's would still be better

hard to judge a resume completely until we can see the whole picture...as another poster stated

    Wlads resume is better currently

While Vitali does have a weaker resume than many, he hasn't been decisively beaten by anyone. He hasn't been dominated by anyone. He certainly hasn't been KO'd.

Yup. Lewis has a strong resume but he has 2 devastating losses to B level boxers, a questionable decision over Mercer etc.
