I have thoroughly examined his style and in my professional, expert opinion this man will not surmount what it takes to be a successful pro boxer. There comes a point when amateur style becomes superimposed on a boxers mentality and at his age he cannot be reworked into a dominant pro as he is currently being touted.

I suggest ther boxing aficiandos' move their attention to a more suitable prospect and then I will be glad to lend my expertly keen analysis to the subject.

I think this guy has atg written on his forehead.

nothing to do wtih Cuban. I don't think so much of Gamboa or Solis

Of course, **** happens. A career can be derailed at any point for a thousand reasons that we know nothing of. So I realise I'm setting myself up here.

Is there a particular road block at 122 lbs you'd like to cite who would halt Rigondeaux' ascension?

I can break it down to exacting details. But, if you have seen him fight and you are an experienced boxing analyst you will notice it straight off. In addtion to the stylistic issues is his age andf lack of power. Mark my words he is a good boxer with excellent amateur skills, but he lacks what it takes to be a top professional.

Some amateur styles are best for the amteurs alone.

This guys' statement is pure " ignorant ". Professional boxing is just as amateur but more rounds, no headgear and more violent...

To suggest that Rigondeaux will not be a dominant Champ is like saying that a young Michael Jordan was not going far in professional basketball!

Tell me, you say he has no power? Well, in the amateurs ( with headgear ) he stopped hundreds of boxers and in the pros he has so far demonstrated that he takes down opponents with just one shot...

Rigondeaux is an extremely skilled, calm and deadly accurate puncher placing his killer shots like his 2 last fights, he KO them with a perfectly placed liver shot, something that not even the most successful or experienced Champions-boxers have been able to master...

Rigondeaux is an amateur legend, and he is not old my friend. He is an extremely physically gifted fighter and he can and most certainly probably will box strongly into his late thirties...

Your doubts are just " hate "...

    The Cubans have arrived...

You just outed yourself in terrible fashion that is why I said boxing analysts and not just fans of the sport and the part of your post I cited are incredibly contradictory.

The few fights I've saw, you could see the fear and trepidation on his opponents face and movements after a single round. There was a bit of power, the kind that makes his opponents go **** that hurt along with **** loads of skill. The dude oozes confidence and it shows in his skill set.

After performing a perfectly detailed analysis of this topic, I have derived the following conclusion:

Despite not having enough time to develop his career to ATG status, RIGONDEAUX IS THE BEST PROSPECT AT 122.

Drknowitall, we are talking here about a genius, a dominator, one in one hundred years talent, therefore it can also be that his set of skills are just out of your expert opinion's grasp. In the same way as geniuses are usually not understood, even by the experts. Cause if you are a boxing expert, then Rigondeaux is Doctor Honoris Causa in Boxing.

There are also some videos, where people talk very highly about him, about his working ethic, including his new coach Freddy Roach.

On the other hand we don’t know the people who are currently surrounding him. He is now alone after leaving Cuba, without his wife and kid, but with lot of freedom, after months of being sidelined following his failed escape in Rio.
When I see that short white guy, who is present in both videos below, a so called friend, with tons of gold in his mouth (true as Rigondeaux has), his mediocre behavior, his body full of tattoos, I can only imagine that after training they are taking Rigo to drink liters of beer with them.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLEtgJdszuc[/ame]

There is a video in youtube where Rigondeaux is rapping, after some drinks, and with his new set of friends.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sm0SeyrebiI[/ame]

These people are not the ones who will lead him take a healthy and professional way of life. These are not the motivators who will help Rigo to take the next step. These are probably the same entourage, that lead the professional boxing careers of Garbey and Jorge Luis Hernandez to nothing.

Well that is what could really derail the Rigo express.
