The Ring - UK release dates...

^ Articles you read on the Internet are often lacking in quality and sloppily written. I don't know if any of you read the scene that is boxing, but there's a really poor article on there entitled "Open Letter to Floyd Mayweather". Crap.

 

I disagree totally. Boxing News and Monthly are ****ing superb, and the level of writers they employ is enviable when you look at reporting of Soccer etc. The Ring is a great mag, but is too biased, one dimensiaonl and bloody expensive considering you are getting news 2 months old. New one is out today, great issue tbh.

 

Got mine yesterday, I love the look back at issues from the past, they have a great archive to look back on

Money saving tip lads. When your out doin your big shop at the supermarket, throw the boxing news/monthly(or both) in the bottom of your trolly. When you get to the checkout,just leave them in the bottom of your trolley. No one will notice. If they do,just say your going to pay for them at the lottery counter:good Or just blame me. Another one is, if your on a water meter,next time you take a bath,put a small stack of house bricks at the tap end. Saves pounds on your water bill:good Every quid counts boys.

Have they got Fighter of the Year and all that in this issue Lee? I went in WH Smiths in Wimbledon yesterday but they didn't have, will check again today

 

They've got The Ring top 100 but fighter of the year normally is month after next.

 

Yeah, read that on the bus this morning. Very good read. I had a quick flick through the top 100 but will read it properly later. Really enjoyed that last year.

 

Some of the rankings I disagree with and I'm not sure of the accuracy where they compare last year with this one: for example, unless I was too tired when I read it last night, they have David Haye as unranked in 2008. But he was Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion at the time so, surely, that is a mistake?

I'm going to check last years list to see.
