Thought for a second it meant Wembley Stadium atsch Will be an excellent fight night, when would the tickets go on sale, I'm throthing at the gash for this :blurp
on why limond rejected it http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sco...hance-to-concentrate-on-joinery-business.html
Alex Arthur must have lost his ranking .Maybe be a good one .Arthur's thinking about moving back down .
"Morrison, who manages Limond, said: "When I put the offer of a fight with Mitchell to Willie he didn't want it. "Willie works as a joiner and he has a couple of big jobs on at the moment. "He says he can't devote the time necessary to train for a title fight. "Besides, I hope to secure a British title fight for Willie in the near future because he has earned the chance. "Willie has become something of a forgotten man because no one seems to want to fight him." Wow, he manages to contradict himself TWICE. He says he can't take the time to fight Mitchell for the Intercontinental title but then says he's hoping to secure a British title shot. Well, surely he'll be too busy for that too?? And he says no one wants to fight him despite having started by saying he's just been offered the Mitchell fight!!! Time to put up or shut up lads, you can't complain about being a forgotten man if you pass up chances like this.
He 's shown himself to be a knob. If you thought that the world owed you a living why would you be working outside of boxing? Ignore the ignorant Willie
You obviously don't understand/ appreciate the risks involved. If he turns down work, he loses money. He'll also lose customers and contracts purely because other people will pick them up whilst he is training and after the fight. Now, lets assume Limmond lost the fight- he'd have lost money whilst training and also would have, potentially, lost future money. Also, as Limond works, if he gets injured against a fighter like Mitchell, he won't be able to return to work staright away- you have to remember that he is sorting his own workload out. The risk/reward is huge and I can understand the decision.
So Willie goes into the ring every fight to provide a future for his family, in between fights he grafts as a joiner. Thats expecting the world to give him a living!!!!!! Martbowski, have you ever set foot in a boxing gym??? That alone tells you that the bloke is a genuine grafter who only wants paid the going rate for getting in the ring with a top prospect who could end a career!!! Get real eh...
