Maybe Margarito would've beat cotto with legal wraps too

by the state of Cottos face after pacquiao it looks the same. maybe the illegal wraps didn't make much difference.

Eh? Would Cotto have slowed that much and not had as much pop on his punches had he not been hit by the loaded gloves?

 

Cotto's face looked exactly the same after both losses. he took a lot of punishment and got hit a lot in BOTH fights.

 

Cotto get's beat by Margarito's style 10/10x's, IMO.

 

Pac hit him all 12 rounds, Margo did not. Cotto started slowing after the 6th. He would have won a decision, and Cotto looked bad in the Pac fight but he still looked worse in the Margo fight.

 

No way. That's where people do not understand. If Cotto had better stamina he would out point Margarito 8/10. If a style had to beat Cotto, then it would be Margo's yeah I agree, but Cotto doesn't just have one style. All the Margarito fight told me is that Cotto seriously lacks stamina, is a sucker to the uppercut and Margo has/had an iron jaw. Margarito was hitting him with some bombs, but I have no doubt in my mind he could outpoint Margarito to a WIDE UD, had he better stamina.

 

He arguably did.

Theres no proof he used illegal hand wraps against Cotto per say.

But one thing I do know for sure, if Margo did use illegal handwraps,
than he could have possibly cheated more than just a win out Cotto.
