i understand mayweathers concessions are ridiculous, but lets stop being so one sided and bias due to some fascination the fans have developed with pacman, because pacquiao just did the same thing to cotto, he forced cotto to fight him in vegas at 145, and we all know cotto is most comfortable at the garden and struggles to make 147, why didnt the author bring that up, does this author still believe paquaio is the little 112 pounder he was when HE WAS 16, i mean mayweather was a 115 120 pounds when he was 16. People paquaio is a legit light welter/ welter now, he can no longer effectively make 135, hes 30 yrs old his body has grown, stop making this fight out to be a huge guy picking on a little guy and making him come up in weight, have we all forgotten paquiao was going to go to 154 to fight foreman, unfortunately boxing is no longer mana y mano bravado vs bravado, its guys out their trying to provide security for their family and friends, and they are trying to live functional lives in society when they retire and its merely good business to take low risk high reward fights, and to maneuver risky fights to give yourself as many advantages as possible, i mean freddy roach even said its his job to get pacman as many advantages as possibe, did everyone forget that, now mayweather does it and its an atrosity, lets stop with double standard

This time it's about making sure, it's equally fair for both so that the winner has no excuses.

This time around...Pacquiao hasn't made any irrational demands and until proven otherwise, neither has Mayweather.

This fight needs to be a 50-50 split; at 147lbs (no more); with a 20 feet ring and 8 ounce gloves.

If any of the 2 requests anything different from that foundation to sign that fight, then they shouldn't get any support for it...

The past right now is irrelevant with what needs to be done in the present.

    Double standard is a stretch-

Comparing Pac's catchweight to Floyd's catchweight is imbecilic, idiotic, and moronic, as well as dumb argument.

Fort starters, Pac is a junior welterweight at most fighting at welter. He was the smaller man asking the bigger man to shed an extra pound from the time he last comfortably fought and with more than enough time to do it (3 months)

    Pac - 140
    Cotto - 147
Pac asked Cotto to drop 2 pounds which is still nearer the welterweight limit than the junior welter.

Whereas, Mayweather asked JMM to jump to welterweight, bypassing even the junior welterweight. Infact at 135, JMM struggled against fighters that he is not supposed to struggle with, namely Diaz, and extremely past it Casamayor.

JMM - 135, but probably best weight is 130
    Floyd - 147

144 which was the stipulated weight is only 3 pounds nearer the welterweight limit, yet that is 9 pounds above 135. And yet he came in at 146.

To simplify matters for you, Pac is the SMALLER man asking the Bigger man to come down while Mayweather is the WAY BIGGER man asking the smaller man to go up.

So stop comparing apples and oranges, and make a generalization that they are the same, because that is a double standard.

All ****ing rumours, next we will hear that Pacquiao wants the fight at 130 or Floyd wants it with 16oz gloves.
