makes it sound like the fight is going to be at the MGM instead of Dallas. Bummer.

sprinters are required to take blood test on 6 hour intervals before and after events....I don't see what the objection is for so early.

I thought the extra testing was excessive. However, Pacquiao agreed to it. If you're going to agree to it, then go through with it.

Again, how do we know he agreed to it? Please don't tell me you're basing all your information around the articles written for the scene of boxing.

its a chicken**** move by mayweather. basically what they are saying is that pac is too good to be legit. that is fear telling them that no clean athlete could possibly be this good. too strong, too fast, too durable and just plain too much for floyd to handle in their present form. i think its hilarious how the bigger guy is scared that the smaller guy might have an advantage.
you can believe what you want but just studying the behaviour of the mayweathers will tell you how little class and dignity they have. there isnt a mud hole out there that a mayweather wouldnt jump into if it made them a buck. trash, plain and simple.

No, it's I've read it on multiple sites. Roach was previously quoted as saying he was ok with it as well.

this applies to all sprinters right? if so, then do it, but to "ALL" boxers.

i just don't see this to be about Pac only. i am for testing but against singling out people.

Those same websites probably ran the Hatton v Pacquiao, 55/45 52/48 split stories; that we all now know to be utter bollocks.

Its funny how now people are against strict testing...."why does Manny need to be tested, just because he was accused".....uhhhhhh yes. Boxing, like baseball and track & field where blood tests are the norm, has had a history of guys using illegal methods to win....on a stage like this shouldn't we as boxing fans push to make sure such an event wouldn't be marred by the scandal of illegal substance abuse??

If manny is doing nothing wrong he should want to submit his test to put to rest the suspicions.

The only thing I could see them doing is say no blood tests 1 week before the fight so that he has no bruising on his arms that could affect his fight.

But I believe the most important thing, whether it is blood or urine is to have testing done throughout training camp instead of just pre fight. I cant see why anyone wouldnt be for this.

They sign a contract between the two fighters, they are allow to put whatever they want in the contract. If mayweather wants to request additional testing and put that in their contract he is allowed to. It is up to Pac and Roach to negotiate with them and come to an agreeable terms.
