Then that's an issue you take up with the sanctioning body.

Lol, stop changing ya story and issues. What you're demanding is really just unfairly targeting one guy because of false accusations. You should stop hiding behind the spirit of fair competition. If you really are interested in better testing, then that is an issue you take up with the NSAC.

My analogy was spot on and your post proves it. It is all about the principle. Why the **** should Barry Bonds have to take an out of scheudle drug test just cause he was putting up big numbers. Thats ****ing bull****.

If boxing has an extensive history of using illegal methods to win then the commissions should put in place an extensive drug testing program. Pacquiao has no business being a test pilot for blood testing just cause his opponent demanded it and spread baseless accusations about him in the media.

Hopefully Pac accepts the blood tests so that this whole controversy can be put to rest. But if I were in his shoes I would refuse the blood tests, despite being clean.

So you see like you said yourself the decision to take the test or not is not about being clean or not, its about the principle.

It's not some simple blood test. It's a whole process that you submit to, random blood and urine testing, search and seizure, etc etc over a length of time.

It's funny how people are crying over the fact that pac has to do a DRUG TEST, yet floyd would have to do the EXACT SAME ONE. LOLOLOL

What the **** is there to cry about, there aint no double standards.

I really don't see what some of your are so upset over. If Manny takes a blood test, so does Floyd. BOTH FIGHTERS will be subject to the additional drug tests. There is no double standard going on here. Why are you guys so threatened by a request to make sure both fighters are clean?? As fans, you should be encouraging this to happen, not down playing PED testing as unimportant or equating it to some kind of mental game.

I think this should be done more times than it is not, especially for the big fights.

I will say that Roach's comments are pretty suspect, but I don't think he articulates his thoughts particularly well in general. This could have just been a slip of the tongue or he could have just been annoyed by the question or the drug testing process.

thorough testing is a must. Hopefylly this will set the standards, for future fights.

Those complaining, are whiners of the worst calibre. If pac cant handle such a test, he surely would be labelled af mental midget, but that is certainly not the case.

what if he gets a bloody nose in sparring..? i would rather have a blood sample taken, then getting my face re-arranged.

perhaps it isnt possible to test every boxer on the planet, but they could say, when you are in the top 50 as pro, then it neccessary to test with these methods.

its not unusual in other sports, to have thousands of tests, cant see why boxing shouldnt do the same.

In general, I agree with you. However, let's say Bonds agreed to an out of schedule drug test and then backed out of it. Do you really think people wouldn't become more suspicious of him? If team Pac objects out of principle, I can respect that. However, to agree and then back out because it will supposedly mentally affect Pacquiao makes no sense to me.

So let me get this straight, these boxers can earn up to 20 million for a fight, yet they cant take one simple drug test:patsch:patsch:patsch
