This is an interesting fight. Vera is very good with his striking and has a good ground game himself. Jones should get a good test in this fight to see where he belongs. He has the talent now lets see how he does against a guy like vera.

Very hard fight to call IMO.

I think Jones is a bit more loose and relaxed active and a tad quicker. I also think his wrestling is just a bit better.

Vera's striking is very good and if could open up and be more active then he could case Jones some issues.

Really looking forward to this fight, I think Jones will take a great fight.

I hope Jones can bounce back from his DQ and be hungry for a good, clean win.
However, Vera has been doing well and I'm happy either way.

yea it's a great match up since both loves to strike and both have a pretty good ground game. I can't wait to see this fight.

Should be a good gauge of just how good jones really is..

Is he another houston alexander/sokodjou or the real deal?

Where is all this "Vera will get crushed" **** coming from?

Vera is clearly a better striker; an illegal spinning back elbow against Bonner doesn't really mean you are a great striker.

Jiu jitsu is also an advantage for Vera; top or bottom Vera has an advantage.

Vera also has damn good Greco, he trained at the Olympic Training Center because he was a top 10 ranked competitor in the US. He has a lot of experience, including a ton against bigger stronger heavyweights. This is Vera's fight to lose.

If Vera fought the guys Jones has and vice versa nobody would even think Jones stands a chance. When Vera fights the quality of guys Jones has he destroys them as or more impressively, maybe a little less flashy, but more brutally.

exactly, that **** was clearly behind the head and bonner almost had him out on his feet in the last round with some inside punches.

if vera can plant one on his chin jones is taking a dirt nap.
