There will definately be a precedent set. If I was fighter involved in a huge fight, I would almost assuredly request this level of testing. The biggest complaint about many major American sports is that they don't do blood tests which allows some athletes to get away with using certain PEDs. Other big time boxers now know that they can get this level of testing in their sport. No one has any idea of who is using what. Now whether or not this turns out to be a good thing is yet to be seen.

If it was policy, I would agree. And perhaps it should be. But not at the whim of a parnoid fighter.

Just cause you pass a blood test doesnt mean you're not taking anything illegal, just look at cycling.

I don't think Manny is in roids, but Roach's response is pathetic.

I agree with you but that is not the point. May is asking for extra, more than whats required. If theirs a mandatory blood testing then thats fine. This issue is way different.

So you admit you would be bashing Floyd if the roll was reversed?

They don't blood test in the NFL or in professional baseball either. You can't even detect HGH unless you use a blood test. Furthermore, the testing the commission uses only tests for certain drugs. The olympic style testing tests for pretty much everything.

That also doesn't mean that you shouldn't do it. Putting people in jail won't eliminate crime, but it will go a long way to curb it.

Then it should made into policy, not done becuase of Floyd's paranoia. Last I checked, Floyd didn't ask for this in any other fight nor did he volunteer it himself. again...if it's policy, then that's cool.

Huh? Was this a comeback? Cause it doesn't make sense.

Anyway. No, If Roach out of nowhere came out and said Floyd was on roids and insisted on it, it would be the same. Floyd Sr is a crackhead who was a mediocre fighter and him accusing Manny like that just makes him look like such a bitter *****.

This is the lowest you can go, no one is exempt from looking like a bitter fool when they make such baseless accusations.

And no fighter is doing what Pac is doing. Moving up in weight getting stronger, faster, and muscular and walking through a punchers punch without flinching. It would be the same if someone had a NASCAR that went against all logic. The same as a weightlifter lifting crazy weights. A swimmer that beats all of Mike Phelps records. Floyd Sr. , Malinaggi, Nate Campbell, and others are stating that what Pac is doing is not normal. Skepticism goes with the territory. People looked how Sammy Sosa, Mark McGuire, and Barry Bonds went from averaging 30 homers to 70 plus. All Pac has to do is take the test to prove all the doubters wrong. Very simple.

Maybe this will lead to a policy. Free agency would have never came about in baseball had Kurt Flood not decided to buck the system. Furthermore, allegedly Floyd had nothing to do with this. It was a decsion made by Ellerbe and Haymon. It really doesn't matter anyway. If you feel the system is flawed and you have a chance to fix it, why not try? Team Pacquiao agreed to it, so I see no real problem.
