    Why? Genuine question.

Yeah. Along with Jeremy Clarkson, William Hague, Gareth Gates and all the other bollock-brained dingbats who give my home county a bad name.

And I wasn't 'dissing' him, as you so eloquently phrased it - that word should be erased from the ****ing dictionary.

    Behave now.

Fighters I've met at shows? Well I was on both showtime and primetime broadcasts post-Froch vs Dirrell, met Jean Pascal, hugged Antonio Tarver  spoke to Showtime Boss and he said how the Super 6 was made for fans like me, he couldn't I travelled from southamppton to Nottingham alone.

Did train at Jack Bishops gym for a bit, got a few tips from Steve Ede who's the current British Masters Middleweight champion(meaningless trinket) although I won't say I stamped my name or authority in the gym, though enjoyed the few months I went there.

And clearly know my boxing, regardless of how much of a geek I look

    :yikes:barf;)

I'd like to think that I'd have nutted him if I was you (if I didn't get sphincter failure that is).

    Well said though squire.

I was steaming  I said something along the lines of 'you knocked out one oft heroes' and he said 'yeah boy with this hand' shook mine and pulled me into one of those ghetto-type shoulder lean/embrace thing :rofl

Was a really sound guy, as were all the people I met. To be honest I'm not saying I'm a mover and shaker, just a pissed-up fan but he asked me what the last show I went to was :deal

blatantly trying to get on camera at the end, not because I 'wanna be on da telly' wannabes big brother contestant, but as a semi-'**** you' to all my avid boxing fan mates/relatives who let me go 11 hour on trains alone (although I did meet up with some posters on the British forum and they were top lads)

from where I was sitting I felt Froch had bossed the fight with his jab against a negative opponent. Re-watching it sober on DVD I found out I was only half right:lol though I voiced my opinions to Claude Abrams that dirrell showed up as he did in te Curtis Stevens fight, met with a nod of appreciation from the Boxing News editor who I later saw again whilst waiting outside (didn't book a hotel) at half 4 in the morning at a big bus stop waitin for the train station to open at six

:D Nicely. Half 4 in the morning in Nottingham on your jack jones - hell on earth does exist doesn't it?

I came across Claude Abrams back in 2005 at the second Woods-Gonzales fight; he was talking to Enzo Maccarinelli if I remember rightly (my memory's shocking). Not seen the Froch-Dirrell fight yet - I should really have gone to see Froch live by now seen as he's only about three quarts of an hour from where I live. Alas.....

Concerning Hamed, I spotted him in Sheffield not all that long ago surrounded by chavs clamouring for his autograph. Swaggering ****........I've always had more affection for Welsh fighters rather than most Yorkshire ones because of my grandad and great-grandad (who was Welsh). Weird really.

**** hot! Would crack up if someone started on Maz aboutbtown, just thinking he was a gobby fat midget not realising he's amongst the hardest P4P hitters in recent decades :lol

I feel my Scottish ancestry sometimes dominates my English blood, though I'm rarely a fan of a fighter based on nationality.

It's tough to say, the film of Driscoll makes him looking an extremely effective and even modern style fighter...the type which would give Hamed problems no doubt.

But I'm inclined to believe much of the footage we have is only of the best of him, and if that all that were available on Naz he'd look like the type of fighter capable of beating any FW in history!!!

With that in mind, I'll have to reserve judgment. Driscoll was very tough but would also looks quite hittable (a recipe for disaster with Naz).

I'm going to have to sit on the fence, but if pushed, I'll say Naz KO.

I hear this quite a lot - usually from the type of loud but boring person who has difficulty in differentiating his arse from his elbow. I'm not discoursing any further on Clarkson. It's for the lounge.
