If that's the case, then shouldn't the comission decide the weight limit as well? If I'm not mistaken, the WW limit is 147 lbs., not 145 lbs. Despite this, Pacquiao had no problem adding additional weight requirements into the contract of his last fight. Adding addtional contraints seems commonplace in boxing.

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Yeah sure Freddie, you are so confident Manny will pass, yet you wont let 10 mLs of a blood sample be taken. Cant Manny handle a needle?

    Pathetic.

    Your point has been heard.

However, there is a larger point, and that is that drug testing is something that would serve the historically corrupt sport of boxing well.

Finally, if someone you choose is in some way correct, yet you choose to deny that they are correct because you don't respect them shows you are biased.

No, because the weight limit is a completely different animal then testing for illegal substances. And the weight limits are just that...limits. Your reaching Reg. I hope you see the difference. Your smart enough to see them.

True. But it shold be uniform for all fighters as stated in policy, not at the whim of paranoia by one party.

Exactly. While in the military, subjected to random drug testing all the time. When clean not a care in the world, when dirty, scared shitless. Stopped by police, when nothing in the car, not a care in the world. When dirty scared shitless. When you are clean, there is nothing to it but do it. No big deal. Especially when between 25 to 40 million is on the table.

Yes there is a difference, an additional drug test will not negatively affect a fighters ability to perform(unless they are cheating). The same cannot neccesarily be said for catchweights. The commision states that no WW can come in over 147 lbs. An additional requirement was insituted by team Pac that said neither fighter could come in over 145 lbs. In this case, the commission requires a urine test. Team Mayweather is insituting an additional requirement that calls for a blood test as well. There is definately a parralel here. I'm not reaching at all. In both cases, the fighters are seeking additional standards beyond what the commsion requires. In both cases, the additional standards were used with the intent of ensuring fairness.

Not if the other fighter agreed to be tested as well I wouldn't. If PBF is a cheat then I want him out no boxer is above the sport.:deal Olympic style testing clears up all the speculation and it gets rid of the excuses that some people will use. I really don't understand why someone would be against Olympic style testing if you're a true fan of the sport.:-(

i can't believe this is becoming an issue. its just some baseless accusations from mayweather which he kept repeating till it stuck. that's some right-wing republican bs.
roach should counter it by accusing floyd of loadin ghis gloves
