We don't know yet. Nobody expected Castillo to give Floyd a tough fight and he did. You never know these things until they happen.

Yes pac will be his hardest fight..Pac is better than anyone Floyd has ever faced...there is nothing at all to make me believe that this fight will be easy for Floyd...With 41 fights this will be the hardest..Nobody Floyd has ever faced is as 'hot" as pac is right now...

Floyd ko 10 in a competitive fight

Floyd is going to show up overweight and beat the crap out of Manny.

Manny beat a weight-drained, old DLH.

Manny beat Hatton (no big deal).

Manny beat Cotto, who lost his mojo with Margo.

Manny is exciting but Mayweather is in a class light years ahead of Manny.

After Manny is sitting on the floor with his nose busted not one person here will deny that Mayweather is the greatest fighter of his generation, and possibly all time.

Great question, and as much as I like Pac, I'm not gonna blindly say "YES!"...I think Manny has a good chance of beating Floyd, but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't, because despite all his flaws as a human being, Mayweather is a God in the ring.

I will say this, however...there are certain things Pac brings to the table that PBF has never faced before, like hand and foot speed, and ability to punch effectively at odd angles. Come to think of it...yes. This is Floyd's toughest fight.

You acting like its almost impossible. Floyd can take Pac's single shots no doubt. But I feel if he takes too many shots, he'd go down on accumulation. Yes his defense is great, but Pac's the first elite workrate type of fighter he'll have faced in his career. He throws punches in bunches in unorthodox angles and has good accuracy. Floyd has to open up a little bit more in order to make Pac think twice in attacking. Otherwise his 1-2 punches at a time won't back Pac up. It'll only make Pac attack even more. Remember Floyd hasn't been hit much in his career because of his great defense, so we don't know for a fact whether he really is durable or not. And with Pac being a great and strong fighter he is, it's not really a stretch for anybody to say that Pac can KO Floyd. You might disagree. But its far from being a ludicrous claim.

My prediction for this is Pac TKO 11 Floyd. If Floyd starts showboating and underestimating Pac, he'll get KO'd even earlier. Though I doubt he'll take Pac lightly.

I see what you are saying, but do you think that Manny's age will play into this? He has been in wars, and his last fight he took some decent shots.

So, all of the while that Pac is punching, what will Floyd be doing? Do you not think that he can let his hands go just as fast if he is pushed, or if he desires too? I think that Manny's work rate will slow as the fight goes on as he will get discouraged from being countered so easily. Floyd isn't dumb enough to not really have studied what he will have in front of him. He is a scientist in the ring ready to dissect. I really think that Manny will help bring out a monster Mayweather when they do get it poppin, but I think that Floyd will dominate late and put him down. Just my take.

Several factors. Mayweather was coming up in weight and outweighed by 9 pounds on fight night, and Castillo was able to use to this advantage and bother Mayweather with his strength and bodypunching. As you stated, he's more of a natural pressure fighter.

Mayweather will have the size advantage against Pacquiao. Pacquiao has struggled with counter punching, range (Mayweather has the same height/reach as Morales), good jabs and straight right hands in the past, all of which Mayweather has. Now I think Pacquiao has improved, but it's not some amazing change where he's a totally different fighter. He's tweaked things out and is smarter and more controlled now, but his opponents and their styles lately also have played to Pac's strengths.

Pacquiao will give Mayweather different sorts of problems, but ultimately I don't see him pushing Mayweather as close to the limit as Castillo did.

Just my prediction...Pacquiao has surprised me numerous times in the past.
