Stylistically, Kessler should beat Froch. But Kessler strikes me as a fighter who is very soft mentally. Froch will win. As for Abraham, I picture KO of the year against Froch. Froch's chin is ready to go and Abraham is gonna bounce it off the canvas.
Froch is a tough fighter. It will take a lot to beat him. Dirrell tried to run, hold, fall down on canvas and complain thinking he would be able to get a decision by cheating, something he will try to do once again when he has his judges, referee, venue against Abraham.
You are all crazy btw Froch is going to Ko kessler will make it look easy too. Dirrell will make anyone look slow and bad btw he is going to be a very good boxer if you like those hit and not get hit at any cost type boxers. Kessler is the worst boxer in the super 6 :deal
Totally agree. Froch has some skills and he has a very awkward style. His overall 'hardness' and will to win are undeniable. That said if I had his girl I'd be pretty 'hard' too!:deal
Also just a quick point. For a guy with supposedly no boxing skills....... He didn't have a bad amateur career did he?
Was happy when froch beat JT but what I saw with Dirrell was pure crap and I think he is going to get KOed somewhere along the tournament.
Elaborate please. Abraham thrives on fighters coming forward, he is a really good counterpuncher. Is hard to hit clean himself and if he gets hit he has an iron chin. He also hits harder than anybody Froch has faced. Taylor's early round offensive fireworks bothered Froch, Abraham caught most of it on his turtle shell.
Froch is what boxing is all about. He's a credit to the sport. If Godzilla entered the rankings tomorrow, Froch would take the fight in downtown Tokyo. He's afraid of nothing and no one, and he'll back it up with blood, sweat, and tears IN THE RING. You don't have to like him. You just have to respect him.
its so easy to forget with all the fan boy ***gotry that goes on in this forum that this is what it ultimately comes down too. well said.
i think that 2010 is the year in which we should all judge Froch as the s6 picks up a pace. he's going to fight kessler away which, shot or not, is still a tough fight, then he goes on to fight abraham. this will be a tough year for him and will be where his legacy begins or ends, but i'm not going to make on opinion on him just yet.
I'll avatar bet u or something similar. Abraham likes to take breaks while leaning on the ropes and letting his opponent pound his guard. Froch will make him pay if he does that against him. Also I think Froch's size and awkward style will be difficult for AA.
