Once again, the word "robbery" is misused. There are only a couple of true "robberies" on that list.

Ring and Boxing Monthly both scored the Paulie fight for Diaz. Another case of commentary affecting perception, I fear. Not a robbery.

Williams-Martinez was arguable either way. I had it for Martinez. Not a robbery.

    Clotty-Cotto? I had it 116-114 for Cotto, I think that's a reasonable card. Not a robbery.

I also thought Juarez-John was absolutley fine.

Guzman Funeka was a robbery, that's a fair call.

More like "Closely-fought bouts where the one declared victorious is controversial"

Having one judge score it badly, doesnt necessarily make a fight a robbery.

Havent seen sturm vs gevor, but of the ones on the list, I see only
guzman vs funeka, and juarez vs john as robberies.

What's the point then? "The year of closely contested boxing"?

Uh u haven't seen Cintron vs. Martinez? Definetly a robbery!

But yea a lot of the fights on the list are arguable, not really "robberies"...so if arguable is what u were shooting for, Dirrell vs. Froch should b there as well

Then the point is that there are alot of important fights ending up with a controversial decission.

At best Clottely lost by 1 round.
Cotto had the fight by 2-3 rounds
