    Well, Chavez was idolized by the Chicanos, wasn't he? Pacquiao is not really their God Idol, he is just an idol because he has done some magnificent things, especially his story, from rags to riches. Moreover, Filipinos are so under-represented in mainstream American culture and in the world period, so Pacquiao changed all of that.

    BTW, are you really Mexican because you don't even know how to spell barrio correctly? Which part of Mexico are you from? Are you living in the states legally or you're still in Mexico?

    My handle is my nickname because I am the best of what I do, so everyone in the SOF world call me El_Rey.

    "IDOL" is a term in the streets in the philippines saying youre damn good and you like what they are doing.

    to educate this mexican dude, philippines and mexico were basically similar in terms of hugging the cross and displaying virgin mary on the streets where millions of filipinos and mexicans follow to touch it and cry about it.
