So you guys think that Oscar should've have gone toe to toe with Tito when he was clearly winning on points by outboxing him and NOT engaging him..All he had to do was win one more round, yet you guys would rather him go toe to toe where he would give Tito chances and could quite possibly be KO'd himself...you morons

Tito's chin was questionable and if Oscar had of engaged more he had the better chances of Ko'ing Tito. Essentially, Oscar beats Tito either way, but because of his loss and criticism for running during that fight, it altered Oscars mentality thus he felt the need to stalk, stand and trade with Mosley, who was just a bit quicker than Oscar.

I'm just saying had Oscar had swapped tactics with those two fights there probably would have been a different outcome.
Imagine his legacy had he of KO'd tito and beat Shane the first fight. Interesting to think about.

some fighters once they find their legs start to get shaky, lots of fighters actually start to run then to use them and stand in there, (exactly why when cotto starts to get fatigued and tired, he will start to run), i know what you mean, it doesnt make sense, but think about when your own legs are tired, its easier to bounce around then to continue to bend them and use that trunk strength, thats why if my own legs are already gone, i can still do jumping jacks or jump rope for days, but if you have me bend my legs i can feel the strength is gone. its weird.... probably not the same for everyone but for me at least, and there are some other fighters who def start using the ring a lot more once their fatigued.

but anyways, these are oscars own words

"I have to admit i was tired. I have never boxed that way in my life. My legs were shaking"

Natural i suppose for putting on such a performence, but also explains a lot.

I am curious does anyone have the punchstats for this fight?

anyways, i dont think oscar should have TRADED with tito the way some are saying, but i think he should have done what he was doing, just not at the degree he was doing it. He was boxing so hard that he burnt himself out, he should have taken it a bit slower in the first half, to keep enough for the last two rounds. Just IMO. Too bad there was never a rematch, i think if they would have fought again it would have been a great fight due to the reaction of their first. One would have to favor oscar to win a rematch though....
