Booradley talks like Pavlik is slicker then Hopkins. I swear if Martinez face Pavlik and embarrass Pavlik, booradley days in esb will be over cause he'll be hiding i guarantee it. He will reply and say it won't happen but watch.

JT isn't a finisher!! If PW had Pavlik in the same position that JT had Pavlik in their first fight PW would have KO 2 KP! JT has showed stamina problems prior to fighting Pavlik and Manny was lying to JT to keep his confidence up! JT was dead tired after the barrage of punches he threw in the second round!!

ok ray, you know that manny's laughing at pav prior to the jt fight was legit and he really thought the kid was a joke...this isnt like manny saying andy lee was going to be mw champ w/in a year prior to his getting stopped by brian vera. anyone whose seen manny talk enough, and i know you have, can tell the difference.
What he should have told him is stop going for the homerun cause your gonna wear yourself out!! JT was tryin to KO KP in the first round and didn't respect Pavlik's stamina and power!! In the second fight JT paced himself properly and gave a better fight!
Oh, I understand that. Williams appeal right now, and ability to get big fights, is based mores on on his promotion then actual accomplishment. So yes, he'll garner fights as long as HBO, Hayman, and Goosen are behind WIlliams. I juts expect him to call out more champs then fight top contenders. Can't say williams has really paid his dues. And even if this sounds like hating, he's had a very easy entrance into too many P4P lists.
I'm sorry, but 3 of pw's last 4 fights were at 160 among which his last 2 and one was at 154. Before that he was fighting at 147 for many fights in a row. How exactly is he 'going back and forth in weight all the time'? Am i missing something here? He hasn't had to make 147 for about 1,5 years now, and so nobody can really make the argument that playing around with his weight had anything to do with his vulnerability against Martinez. The flaws he showed against Martinez were the same ones he's always had, Martinez was just good enough/had the right style to exploit them more so than most of Paul's other opponents were. Weight issues had nothing to do with it.
The thing that I have pointed out all along is that George Peterson sounds EXACTLY like Steward did. He says the very same things, and PW's fans just parrot that stuff. The truth about Paul Williams is that he is a simple pressure fighter who comes forward throwing leather, and catching punches with his face. In every fight he comes straight out and tries to ambush his opponent. Everything about him, and everything Peterson says, indicates that a PW/KP fight would be a head on collision from the opening bell. In that kind of fight, PW wouldn't see the end of five.
You know I don't like to side with you but I am sick of hearing Peterson tell PW "the thing you have to do Paul is the same thing". I personally want PW to get a trainer who can teach him how to use his height and reach to his advantage!
Williams deserve to be in the top p4p list. The man has fought atleast 4 fighters that many well known fighters don't want to fight. On that time Margarito was known as the most fear fighter on the planet remember those days lance? Who call Margarito out and beat him? Williams. Not many very well known fighters want to face Quintana but Williams did and is 1-1 vs him. Not many well known fighters wanted to face Winky Wright but Williams did and beat him. Who top fighter that was a well known name wanted to fight Martinez not name Williams? Rip Forrest but he didn't want to go anywhere near Martinez. I mean damn Margarito, Quintana, Wright, Martinez? Thats like easy fights?
Williams is better off at 160 than he is at 154. So many fighters at lt.middleweight that would creat bad matchups for him and bring very little reward. Spinks,Foreman,Santos,Martinez II, and Quintana III all southpaws, 1having the power to TKO him, 4 that are very slick and 2 of them already schooled Williams. There is very little threat at middle other than Pavlik but it brings up a big prize if Williams is successful.
