IMO if PW was to use his size advantage properly he probably would be unstopable from 160 and below! Thats where a new trainer will have to come in!! When I went to the fight I nearly had the chance to speak to Mr. Peterson by the bathroom and I would have asked him why he allows PW to fight so short!!

You may recall that back when the KP/PW talk first got serious I said the nature of the fight would depend a great deal on Paul's fight plan. I still think that's true. I really did not start adamantly predicitng a short fight until after Peterson started throwing his drag. Even at that, "short " does not mean "easy." However, trying to ambush, or get into a war of attrition with Pavlik is NEVER a good idea.

Stfu idiot. Martinez didn't school Williams. Quintana outbox Williams in the first fight but no way it was schooling. Schooling if Williams only won like 2 rounds in which he won more rounds then that.

Yea shame on Peterson for his predictions that Williams will tko Pavlik. He should be like Jack Loew who guarantee Pavlik will tko Hopkins. But Loew was right huh booradley?

You forgot to mention, not only about using the height advantage but what about throwing a harder jabs?

Fighting guys no one wants to fight doesn't make you a top P4P fighter. Besides, this whole "most feared..." or "No one wants to fight.." is mostly talk. It's good to challenges on guys no one is in a hurry to fight, but that should not make you a top P4P fighter. Williams is 2-1 against top 10 ranked WW's. 1-0 vs. Jr MW's, and 1-0 vs. MW's. I don['t count Martinez as it was over 154 and he's not rnked at MW. It's a good start, but I think WIlliam's resum is still pretty thin.

They were both schoolings that exposed Williams as the one dimensional fighter that he is....dont deny this or else you Williams fans will end up like the Hattonites.

Nazim does present good points on weight jumping...Its going to take its toll sooner or later...To add to that, the fact that he takes a little to much punishment also is a key factor...Margorito is a great example...Your chin can only last so long before it lets you down...I like Williams and all but he does need to find one specific weight class and stick to it...IMO 154 should be that division and work from there up!

Yea Williams got schooled by Martinez even though Williams landed more, threw more and got the decision win in a fight many say it could go either way? Like i said stfu. But if you want to go that way boom then Marquez schooled Pacquiao in the rematch in which MANY FROM RINGSIDE THAT WAS THE PRESS ROW, BOXING WRITERS EVEN CURRENT FIGHTERS THOUGHT MARQUEZ WON THE FIGHT.

With a little smart management and wise match making Williams could probably postion himself to become the next big thing at 160. He ought to stay at 154 and try to patiently clean it out. Move up after Pav moves to 168. By that time 160 will be pretty hot with the young guns coming up, and PW could be right there to take 'em all to the woodshed.

Thats true but as a fan...I would love to see the Pavlik\Williams fight before Pavlik moves on to 160 (if he decides to make the jump in weight)

Boo, the thing that worries me about Williams is the amount of punishement he takes...That really has me thinking!:-( I hate to see Williams messed up in the head because of those uncalled for shots he eats.
